just a dumb 'sentence' that has gained popularity all over the world. haven't any of you ever seen it before? it was first used for a Japanese PC game but they are terrible at english translation.

im so not into anime and all that...its looks funny...but I would love a trip to tokyo one day...I have a friend from undergrad whose in okinawa (though not the mainland) and my roommate in college did some kind of program over there in it...camp adventure...

yes I know all about the different easier versions and have been meaning to try it, but afraid to mess up my PC.

Try this version, it has better visuals than Vista but less resource needs. It is a live version so does nothing to your PC.

"Please note the system is currently BETA, a bit “hacky” and could destroy your harddrive or something even more nasty like bowed legs and a crooked smile.
This software is released under GPL2 and comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY.
But..
Don't let that scare you off – back up your data and let us know what bugs you find!!"

Linux (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux) is basically an opensource operating system like Windows or Mac OS. Open source means that its code is basically freely availiable and distributable.

Since linux is opensource, it comes in different flavours called Distros (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_distribution). The one I am using is called Kubuntu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kubuntu) (a version of Ubuntu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_%28Linux_distribution%29)).

BTW the pic is a promotional shot of NBA Live 2006 - Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, Steve Nash, Ben Wallace and Ray Allen

Well i was gonna try debian but never got around to. Played with Fedora, Linspire, Knoppix (my fav, every pc tech should have a copy), Mepis, Mandriva, Elive
