When I saw these pictures last night I was horrified and disgusted! Conditions like this should not be permitted to exist!

look at the chicken foot...I swear the only thing that made me truly believe this was the Bahamas and not another third world country was the license plate and the trees and palm trees in the background...Have we no shame? they need to heavily fine those companies and snatch the licenses of those businesses and the doctors should know better...we have a health crisis on our hands...man the mud and the pidgeon pea is a haealth hazard all were doing is making it bad for ourselves...

I'm inclined to agree with you for real. Its not Nassau, so they arent checking. Trust me, were it not for the GBPA in Freeport we might be going through the same thing.

This is why truly de-centralising government is so critical for a nation such as ours with many islands and cays. Local government needs to be given the autonomy and money it needs to carry out the needs on the different islands..

Now in truth, this administration dont give two flips about local government because it wasnt their brainchild and the PLP never agreed with taking power out of the hands of central government, so the legislative will to strengthen local govt wasnt going to happen under this administration - but it certainly needs to be strengthened.

Hmmm .. we used to play rugbdy, soccer, etc,, all in the freezing cold rain, and sleet and snow .. plus we even swam in the pool in the freezing cold while it was raining (biathalon).... LOL
