When I was real young my Mom and Dad had a fight. She took a cutlas to everything in the house. There was even 2 chops on my bedroom door.
As far as I remember my Dad bundled me up and took me next door to his brother house and he just stood out side watching. The next morning everything was broken bent or torn it was as if a bomb went of. I don't ever remember them fighting again.


i like ya ma. too many people around here have their guns all set up ... i just have my machete on the front table as you come in the front door, decorative sheath and all. sure makes everyone think twice ;-). (i fenced in college, so can play the total drama queen in style.)

my husband is almost twice my size, but would never even think of hitting me. for the same reason a woman doesn't kick a cat or a dog, a man doesn't hit a woman. for any reason whatsoever. pick on ya own size!

I remember when I was about 14/15 I had been in a heated dispute with a female classmate in our Math class. I was writing from the chalkboard when she, out of no where came an slapped me :screw: across the face! :taped: I was so stunned!
I had done her no wrong, and she slapped the hell out of me! I sat there in that chair thinking that I was going to slap the spit out her mouth! Then she went to her seat and sit down like nothing happened! I stud up an told the teacher " Excuse me Mr. Smith, this "fat cow" just slapped me for nuthin! He said what did you say? And I being so silly, went and said the exact thing again. He stand up and said lets go to the office! I explained my side to the senior master, and boy did he not buy my story! He whaled on my hip for what seemed like and eternity! Then said that he would not tolerate any physical or verbal abuse to any females!(which he had beaten into me literally) When I got back to class, I was so vexed! She walked up to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek which made me so confused. Turns out that she was dared by a group of girls to slap me. Then she felt guilty, which lead to the kiss. As karma would have it, later that day she got gang by the same girls that dared her earlier that day. They beat the skin of her! I was never so happy to see irony at work. It was more sweeter than revenge!
Also, I had a neighbor that would beat and choke the life out of his wife, and 2 daughters! I 'm talking SUPER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, out in the streets, in the house, out in the town, man he'd whoop them anywhere! When he whipped one, he whipped all. For the most unheard of reasons! (things we class as petty, he classed amagedon like) They would be all marked and bruised up.
Yet I never understood why she never left. It's been that way for about 12/13 years now and she still there taking these beatings. I heard that the violence has declined (but not stop) ever since they had a little boy.
And on top of all that beating, do you believe that he is a Police Officer! I don't know what hold he has of her but she just won't leave.
My point is that physical abuse (against women) was beaten out of me, maybe these guys need a taste of there own medicine?

i dont believe in hitting women either but if one comes at a man he has the right to RESTRAIN her from cuasing injuries to him. do everything you can to keep her from hitting you i.e hold her down or walk away but i must say if either of those options failed at a fiest female was comin at me she would have to be laid out.

now for the real reason i posted. i dont know if it was said yet but i noted that some black females have this thing where if a guy does not at least threaten to hit her he is not a real man. they get turned on by seeing their man pissed off and breakin stuff. dont know y maybe a female can clue me in. anyway i believe more of our females need to be tuaght what a man should act like. today most young women dont want a guy that opens doors and shows them total respect. n e body every heard a song by Monica called Too Hood, it sums up the mentality I am talking about.

I just don't understand why there's a distinction. If there's no good reason to hit a woman, then there's no good reason to hit a man either. But if something's going to make you hit a man, then how do you restrain yourself when a woman does the same thing. That's almost crazy.

If somebody hits you in the back of the head with a bottle do you turn around ready for blows -- but when you see the long hair and breasts, do you suddenly stop feeling the pain and being angry?? You're basically giving women a free pass to destroy you.

it depends on the situation and i don/t believe any said or implied that they would let that slide,here's one,let's say a woman that i don't know walks up 2 me and hugs me,my first reaction is NOT 2 strike,let it be a man and you watchin it on the evenin news,dig it?

:bouncy: Nope I read it all! Seeing is believing, and I know for sure some women care less! The agruement would be over and they keep throwing "gasoline on the fire!" Especially if the male in the wrong or presumed to be. All they really feel is that they could justify they actions by degrading you or even throwing things at you. It's like they is be daring you to hit them!!! Like I've said, I had this neighbor that lived this daily!
