You aren't hitting a man because he hugged you. I wouldn't hit my father, brother, uncle, cousin or son if they hugged me. You'll hit him because he made a homosexual advance on you. Which can't be compared to a woman hugging you because it can never be perceived as homosexual.

I just don't understand why there's a distinction. If there's no good reason to hit a woman, then there's no good reason to hit a man either. But if something's going to make you hit a man, then how do you restrain yourself when a woman does the same thing. That's almost crazy.
If somebody hits you in the back of the head with a bottle do you turn around ready for blows -- but when you see the long hair and breasts, do you suddenly stop feeling the pain and being angry?? You're basically giving women a free pass to destroy you.

Look..it is just one of those things that is what it is.
We get some perks as men too.
Like...
We get to pee standing up
We get to be paid grossly unfair to women.
We get to have sports, and the rest of the television.
We get to have sweethearts and get away with it sometimes
We get to walk into a bank, and the bank does not have to ask us for a co-signer generally.

So, there are some conscesions you have to give up on.While you are crying unfairness, re-think your status and look around "hate to use that phrase".

Now, I would cuss a chick to shame, and would do her almost anything in fair compettition...ie fighting for job promotion, school work, shopping lines etc...
But, to hit a woman because I can is outrageous. Two to One I can kick her tail anyways...so what's the use?

Those aren't perks. Other than the peeing, those are discriminations that shouldn't happen. But that's another topic.

I don't understand the cussing thing. I'm not the type of person that exhibits slight anger or partial anger. Arguing and cussing, I don't do. At least not in the context you are talking about. The only time I get angry is when I'm pushed to display my anger physically. If someone spits on my child or if someone threatens the life of a family member.

How do you stop yourself from beating somebody senseless just because they're a woman?? If someone spits on my child I do not see myself pausing or stopping my anger simply because it was a woman.

And...I know that we're talking about two different things. Spousal abuse and self-defense (I guess). But there's always been this strict rule that I never understood that men have been subjected to. That they couldn't hit a woman no matter the circumstances. That is foolish. I've personally seen my mother beat my step-father and he ended up in the hospital -- keep in mind that I hate my step-father and I love my mother to death. But he should've not felt less of a man because he couldn't hold down a woman who was almost bigger than him and swinging an axe handle.

You have a right to defend yourself and even beat the living shish out of anyone that threatens you.

For the most part:Men have heavy hands and women have sharp tounges! Both need to control these impulses to solve this problem.Of course bullies are another matter,they need a beating themselves,then jail.:walk:
