Im not doubting the MOE knows the right figure but I am lost in my confidence for them to release that figure.......then a simple division equation will reveal more staff required etc etc. The figure released publically by government depts is the figure that best suits their spin and budget....it doesn't necessarily mean its the real figure. OH hush my mouth: the civil service fiddling figures....how dare I think such a thing, Tafadhali!

well it seems you know more than you are saying...if what you are saying is to be believed we can see that truth is evident in the poor national D+ average.

I probably don't know any more than the next joe average but all I want to get across is that making a high per capita income boast for the Bahamas and proudly saying its the second highest (or whatever) nation in the Carribbean completely overlooks the inequity and real life struggle for so many of our citizens....it is almost heartless! The income situation here is just so unbalanced and more so than countries who are genuine developed countries.....and we don't even have a proper safety net of support services and welfare due to our outrageously inefficient ways of raising government revenue and all the 'skim off' corruption that goes on. Too many times we find excuses for the crap other people put on our system when they rip it off. Das my 2 cents worth!
