jujutree 08-01-06, - 12:26 AM I sat the other night and listened to the Pm saying that Sol Kerzner is interested in restoring Montagu beach back to the fifties or sixties. I found it interesting because the other day I went to PI or KI for Kerzner Island to go to cabbage beach to only find that the little access road that leads to cabbage beach is in the middle of a major development.Do you think when this development is completed, he is going to allow bahamians to walk through the middle of his property. So that is his logic behind restoring Montagu so he can keep us bahamians of his island. The Pm was sleeping and fell for it hook, line and sinker.
You might be right. Fix up Montagu for us so they can keep Cabbage to themselves. “Separate but equal?” I like Montagu but as for a beach it is far from Cabbage - far!!! The point is we should have access to both! Also, the government should keep Montagu up. It is a public beach. :sailing:

Is there any public beach access at all on Paradise Island? If there isnt, then it needs to be adressed seriously.

if kerzner can have his police station the colour he wants it...what you think about our beaches...no matter how any would or would like to see or say it...this is a foreignor coming in our country telling us what he wants and how he wants its and what is best for us:keep the black scrubby locals to stink fishy montague so that my guest can have it all...

there exists a beautiful, narrow trail that leads to the beach...there are two access. NO parking though!

What trail are you talking about? The one by the water treatment plant, laundry, and old nursery? That is closed now.

2nd by the round about where the taxi drivers does block up the road on both sides!
