Time nah investors in New Providence say they have gotten to the point where they refuse to take or return calls from Mother Pratt because of how she consistantly hits them up for money to do this and that in her area, and for her church stuff.
Mother needs to get her priorities in order. She is Minister of National Security, and every sector under her portfolio - police, defence force and the prison force - are heavily disgruntled, lacking essentials and working in less than conducive conditions.
And please, lets not go down the "well the FNM didnt do such and so before she came in"..this is why we change governments - to improve upon what the previous government was messing up on...how many terms does it take to screw in this lightbulb man!
We are sitting on a powder keg..all politics aside.

Maybe they should have agreed with Ninethy's offer to construct a new US like prison facility when he had offered the money! :shhh: It being blood money would host those that shead it! :gi: Speaking of which, does anyone knows were all confiscated money go when seized? Does it get filtered back into society?:dgi:

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I was just poking fun at Mother Pratt. She needs to get her portfolio in order, she is doing a terrible job!!! I challenge any one to refute me. She same to be out of her element when it comes to her portfolio. She is a nice woman in all, but the road to hell is pave with good intentions!

Not trying to make this "political" but this is a basic need for the country and it is not improving as you stated, in fact it's worst.

oh wow i thought the prison was on go slow since may 2002....my bad ya'll:sparky:
nationbuilder 08-05-06, - 06:30 PM Lawd Mother Pratt really dont know what to say nah. I'm reading today's Tribune where they spoke to Min. Pratt about these concerns the prison officers have expressed.
She said she was "baffled" by their concerns...baffled? Hasnt she ever been to the prison before? Then she suggested that the officers who are complaining might be trying to sabotage her efforts at the prison. My Lord.
Then on the matter of adding new officers to the prison to put a dent in the shortstaffing, she explained that its taking long because prospects have to be vetted..and that that process isnt her Ministry's responsiblity, but that of the police...
UM..Mother..dont the POLICE FALL UNDER YOUR PORTFOLIO TOO???:titongue:
