European Americans Receive more Food Stamps than African Americans ? How do you know this? Proof, or just thought? Neither qualify for food stamps unless they are poor. Course i was never poor and without a job in the US, i was too busy working 15 hours a day 7 days a week bussing tables in 3 different restaurants, so I didnt need anything from anyone, besides some time off.

Even in the face of such disaster and heartache, when you all should come together, the media chose to racialise there reports on the hurricane victims. The day after the storm I wathched CNN and saw the tapes of black folks (ONLY) looting a Walmart and a police beating the crap out of a you black man for stealing some electronic equipment. I CRIED. To see how we are treated all over the world is deplorable. Instead of showing these people (looting) where was the national guard and the American government who were suppose to take care of them.

As black folk we have always had a most resilient spirit, and where there's a will we will find a way, so going out and getting food when no one was there to provide it, is just our human nature. Believe it or not, I got all those colorful adjectives about my hair from my mom. Her hair was very soft and she couldn't deal. Being tender-headed didn't help either. So, she put a perm in my hair when I was 2. And some 30 years later, I'm finally back to natural.

My mom and I were sitting on a bench on Bay Street around 4p, just enjoying the surroundings and counting all the White people LOL!

This guy was stopped at the light and talked to us; how you doin', where you from, enjoy your stay, then he turned the corner.

"Mama," an older lady, pulled up in her biege Mercedes was lettin' you brothas have it:

yes FORMER (been dead and gone) black americans fought hard for their rights, so why doesnt young america today use them. why are they (most of them) lettin it fall by the way side? yes i agreee that if (former) blacks who fought for equality didnt i would enjoy the EQAULITY that is in america today and thats why i am taking advantage of those oppurnuties.
