You should! I'm not saying that they're all bad, and certainly not an attitude unique to white people. I live in New York now, and I'm having a ball! However, you still hear things said from either side of the spectrum - in opposition to the other (white people referring to anything black as "ghetto", black people referring to anything white as "cracker"). People say things in jest that I wouldn't dream of saying due to how insensitive it is. It happens everywhere you go, and it's born out of ignorance. I just smile, nod, mind my own, and let them figure it out for themselves.
So do you hang out in Greenwhich Village?.... I know ,I know typical stereotypin.

he he he...ok Rory..but lets see just how deep our inbred ideas are about how we think people look based on how they "sound" on these boards...
How you think I look? Do I sound tall or short, dark skinned or light skinned, long hair or picky hair? lol lol:shaky:

no idea, i only see a doggy in the picture .. :escape:

now lets see some photos .. :sailing:

You're right; I did say that. However, that's neither here nor there, because these kids didn't know for a fact that I was gay. All this happened during my childhood and adolescent years. I had no sexual attraction to anyone at the time, so that argument is null and void. I didn't tell anyone about my sexual orientation until college. I also got called names because I went to St. Andrew's... now, if you can come up with a sensible rationale for that, please let me hear it ;)

 No! Not busting ya chops, I just said that would explain were all of that of track emotion came in! NO LOVE LOST! :heartbeat

Ohhh, Marichal. lol of COURSE I hang out in Greenwich Village! Duh! While we're at it, I also dress in drag at every opportunity, I only eat low-carb, low-fat meals these days in juuuust the right proportions (gotta fit into that sequined dress somehow!), and I make it a point to decorate everything in sight in - drum roll - faaabulous rainbow colours! LOL

Now, if you believe that, I also have some beachfront property in the middle of Kansas I'd like to sell you. ;)

In all seriousness (and this is totally off topic, btw), the Village is nice, but there's so much more to NYC, and I'm still exploring it all (I've only been here since March!). Cheers

Children can be the cruelist of all people, especially in a gang or group setting where the (different child) becomes the target.:shhh:

No worries, B21, I know what you meant. But I was trying to point out the flaw in that. Given your post, it would appear that you're implying that I'm validating their stereotype, which I'm not. That's all!

That reminds me of a scene on South Beach, everybody watching these couple fellas kick this lil sexy gal to pieces in the parking lot.Come to find out girl was a fella and had been dancing & drinking with one of them most of the night. Man I know that bey was disappointed.
