Nah...you drew a rainbow because you like em.
For obvious reasons.
Where are your parent's?
Shouldn't they have had you on pre-natal...err...parental control?
:bye:
Personally I feel pre-natal control would have been better for you...
:board2:
Look, you are upset and embarrased "as you should be" over the fact that, you were wrong over the Bishop Fraser scandal. Not because he may or may not have done it, but your callous attitude for a possible rape victim was attrocious.
You and your entire clan should be ashamed, that an animal like you runs free.
Thank God we have some other "sensible" people in the Bahamas...
You most certainly, belong with the pre-historic cavemen. Certainly not the 21st century.
Talk about dumb ape's!

I was just curious to find out how many of us Bahamians have been in the presence of racial discrimination and the stories behind it! Weither it be here in the Bahamas or abroad! Please share!
I guess more than just a few times"quite often actually" my wife and I with the kids get long rude stares. As a racially mixed couple,we both expected it,but what suprises both of us is it is just as frequent here in the Bahamas as it is at home.We don't take it seriously though, that is thier problem, not ours.:) You know the term "acid test"? Well I sure found out how that applied to a few of my so-called longtime friendships as well.F..k em'

Actually this a big branch that is never looked at! Interracial Relationships!

I have dated (before marriage of course) out side of my race before, and have found it to be awkward for me! Meaning that people on both sides of the shade look at it in disgust, or disdain! I personally believe that love transcends the racial barrier, but many don't share my views! Either they are just scared to be persecuted by their race, or don't feel totally comfortable in the relationship, like I was! I need not mention the third!!

I am a product of my great grand parents interracial relationship, but have 3/4pure caucasian family members of blood relation!

Take this as an example: In my younger days, I being black, had black family & friends that I hung out with, and would use stupidly the derogative N word among them. As a term of endearment!

Then I had white friends I hung out with, and would be on my "P"'s and "Q" of using that word around them, and racial words/slurs geared towards them!

I am stuck in the middle with no claim!

I remember clearly this one time that I (having a MEL GIBSON moment)actually used the N word in a grouping of friends of mixed color! Everyone looked at me, as if I broke the forbidden rule! I at that point was very ashamed, cause it was like I started a new struggle! Like I placed a rain cloud over the whole group! The next day after the drunken rant, I apologize to them all, cause it was my bearing that brought them together!

I say this to express, after years of stuggling and dealing with this issue, in my eyes I see one race! The Human Race!!

I certainly understand and when I was younger experienced much of your feelings. My self confidence coupled with the love and devotion my wife and I have for one another has kept our relationship very strong.Personally, the racial comments mumbled as we may walk a city street do not bother me nearly as much as the disappointment I have in some of my former friends, who I thought I knew.BUT...that is ignorance for you! Besides,my Joey will say to me "they never were your friends anyway" that's intelligence for you!:)
