View Full Version : police shot police, this morning
FACTS ONLY 08-07-06, - 10:08 PM Am I the only one here who pays attention to the Daily Show type news?
Early this morning the was a shooting at Club Amnesia in Freeport. The local Freeport police responded. They saw the culprit running toward the bushes and gave chase with their guns drawn. A Nassau police who was in Freeport to help with the Feel the Rush saw the plain clothes policeman running with his gun up and mistook him for the criminal. He fired a shot at the runner.
The partner of the Freeport policeman saw the Nassau police, who, alas, was also in plainclothes, and shot him for shooting after his partner.
Sad, but true.
Here is absolute proof that our policeman either have wutless training or never put their training in practice.
What happen to 'STOP POLICE.' Or is that only on TV?
The young Nassau policeman is in the hospital in serious condition!!
FACTS ONLY 08-07-06, - 10:10 PM By the way, up to news time there was no report of what happened to the real culprit the police was chasing after.
FACTS ONLY 08-07-06, - 10:13 PM While I hope the young man recovers well, could you imagine the story on Deco Drive or The Daily Show??

I saw the story on the news too and you are right no indication as to what happened to the culprit. I know he in Church now after he realize he could have been dead.
So is the Grand Bahama policemen doing okay?
I can't laugh at this even though it is comical! This really just goes to show the mentality and the disiplinary training most of them went thru or have!
Just like the man the Police shot down on EAST St. at the fastfood take away!
He had a flippin spatula in he hand, and they shoot him dead!!! Then ga say it looked like a gun!?! :taped:
"GUN" - shot every thing moving or living, regardless!
They first instinct is to shot first, ask questions later!! :hot: :hot: :hot:

Someone please educate me in this matter. Were all these officers working that beat? And if so, why didnt they all know eachother and be aware of what the other was there to do?
And is there a protocol about plainclothes officers drawing weapons? And assuming the first officer, though armed, was running AWAY from the first shooting officer, why did the officer fire his weapon?
This story is absolutely flooring man, seriously.
