Man what a day ... my parents sentra got stolen last night right in front of their appartment complex (theives cut the chain to the electric security gate and also the car had a steering lock) ... then 3pm today my friends brand new 06 truck (diesel and only 1 like it on the island) got stolen from right in front of Hardings Locksmith when he was inside there .. these theives are getting bold now ... when they catch them need to lock them up and throw away the key ... :hammer:

watch your vehicles people, seem their even stealing ones they cant sell for parts ..

the second case is a strange one indeed. cause normally the motive behind car theft is to strip it for parts...most likely it'sll turn up after they go joy riding all over the place. :escape: and more than likely..the upholstery will have to be changed

Man you serious?? One of my good friends just called me and said that her brand new 2002 or 2003 Maxima was stolen last night - yesterday, out her driveway none the less!! The sad part is that she been working to get that car so long and she only had it for like 3/4 weeks tops! She literally has only paid the down payment! These criminals don't care, they just is :driving: of with ya hard earn money!! They strive on making life miserable for the real law-abiding-Bahamians!!

I had a Sentra stolen in 1994. Stolen from right outside the window where I was sleeping. Woke up early to go to work. Was walking out the door with a basket to go to the wash house and saw no car. I was so shocked I went out and looked on the other side of the lil short hedge where the car was cause I couldn't believe it was gone. When I was going back inside my girlfriend asked me what happened. I said "The car gone." She couldn't believe it either. She made me walk all around the neighbourhood looking for the car to satisfy her. The police found the car a few days later stripped.

As for the truck it may have been stolen to use as a getaway car. If he left the truck running it was stolen for a joy ride.

Things that make you wanna hurt these pansies....but you end up in jail with them if you do that so....

I see they are building a wall in front of the apartment building. I hope that wall comes with a security gate or its useless!

Man Rory yinna getting me scared now...I plan to buy a brand new car soon which could run me into at least 20k. Plan to install one of those talking alarms, (do you deal in those?). Now it looks like they wouldnt even be of any use...hmmmmmmmm!

My, how the times have changed! When I was a boy, watching movies at the Cinema Theatre, once in a while you would see a car stolen...whenever we discuss the movie later the fellas would always say, "well, no one could ever steal cars in Nassau, Nassau too small and they woulld get caught easily!" But then in those days there were very few cars here!
