They go on strike every summer...what is the government not giving them???? I thought it was resolved!!!

Yep stay away from local restaurants for a while, at least those without generators, or you may get ill. Also watch the food in food stores especially frozen food since half the time their generators dont work properly.

The strikers need to get paid, or arrested, either way the govenment needs to get off its backside and deal with this crap already!!

Govt really needs to do something! BEC union has been doing this foolishness for about 30 years. Maybe they need to get rid of a couple of the ring leaders in the union who be pushing for this type of thing. I understand that a long time ago they had one rabble rouser who used to be pushing the union to do these things. This dude was so clever and disgusting...he knew some of the "dirty work" of some of the big boys, etc, and management was afraid of him, so they paid him to get rid of him so they could have some peace. Now this present union leader seems to be just as bad or worse!

Well i know one thing, they cant hijack the island like this and then expect people to feel sorry for them.

We will never see it happen but that is what needs to be done. Fired them all, from top to bottom and import folks that know how to work without threating the population.:)

Unlike some private company like a bank. You are not hurting some rich owner or company profits but you are affecting an essential service.

There is a simple solution to this problem.Just put some teeth in the labour laws.... But wait, govt is the biggest culprit out there,So I guess scrap that idea.
