Well done, Mr. Gibson. One should never give in to extortion! If that is what he sees it as. (By the way, have we heard the unions side on this? 9 mill. deal?)

Yup, as far as I'm aware.

As for the clergy thing...we know what this is all about. Election time a-'comin..so now all the lackey self-exalting preachers who try to compel their congregations to vote yay or nay from the pulpits are being stroked and massaged for the task ahead.

What better way to give a preacher like Neil Ellis fodder for his trophy case, than for him to believe he was key in settling major industrial disputes in the country involving essential service workers?:bored:

Lol! Neil Ellis is not involved in the WHOLE thing. If one side isn't talking to you, how can you negotiate. Some times the punch do get it right.

if one side isnt talking to you, you go and talk to them...1000s opf Bahamians need service...it is essential in a Modern Bahamas. the rift was between BEC ( aquasi-govt entity) and a union the govt should have stepped in and bring people in wh o are paid in the centrail govt tp negotiate or perform such task in their jobs descripions...you dont bring the church in that only clouds the issue and disregards the aim of separation of church and state.
