Any one from Long Island. Just a note to say that next year any generation properties or those without papers will be taken by Government. If u or anyone u know hold claims to properties without papers please get together, get a lawyer, have it surveyed, come to an agreement to share it equally and have the papers drawn up for it. If u don't u will be a foreigner in your own Island. Government have given away 350 acres up south to a foreigner who was supposed to start a project. He is sitting on it to sell back to long islanders. Wake up and smell the fresh breezes in that island. There are foreigners now building vacation homes and renting them out to their friends and the island is not benefitting from it. It's about time you claim your own.

its worse...because the bahamas govt isnt even compensating they are just stealing from bahamians to give to outsiders and their friends....look at the bozine affair...exchanging land in some other out island and steal from unknowing Bahamian generations to come in the process!

Never said the peeps land that was being taken didn't fight back. I said Bahamians as in, thats ya problem bey. Also the fact that when it happened under the FNM their peeps saw nothing wrong with & I'll lay an even bet the PLP's see nothing wrong with this incident.We live in a gimme me society.
