RockWell 08-15-06, - 12:40 PM So I'm watching Steve Mckinney show last night, and Agatha Marcelle comes on and complains about making only 70 something grand per annum.Thing is she didn't even factor in the $1800.00 per month mp stipend, vechicle usage and all the other perks.Does anyone have any idea what this woman did before she became an MP?

I think she was an HR manager. and I know she didnt make 70K or get 1800 in perks per month...hell she probably still has her job!
funny thing is this woman makes at least 3 times the amount the average Bahamian has to toil for each year $70K is decent money for someone in a small island nation ...especially an elected official whose doing nothing anyway. She sounds so ungrateful and I just want her to know in advance her constituents heard that and the FNM and independent candidates will use that against her in the upcoming election...when was the last time we heard from her anyway?

she was a motivational speaker...involved with training...she had her own buissness on West Bay Street...
Well at least she doesn't have to worry about her small 70k any more...everyone in this small Bahamas knows that she lose her seat...

And while she dere complaining about how much more she feels she should be blinging, her constituents who put her in office in the first place say they dont want the PM to send her back as the candidate for South Beach.
Funny how she believes she is worth the big bucks, but the people she was elected to serve would care to differ - sternly.
And I aint talkin bout FNM supporters either. I am talking about Ride-or Die PLP supporters.

the thing is ,shouldnt they be rallying among themselves to send good representation to parliament from among them?...not rely on perry or the plp to make that decision for them. you agree? for all we know this woman's bills is sky high and she is living far above her means and to her she feels she needs more money to support her lifestyle... nevermind she een doing no work for her constituents or the people who is affording her the $70K...I cant wait to see her go!

They ain't use her because she got angry with the Bishop out south when she was at his church. Now she move on to a church that has an FNM pastor out west. Ellis and perry mad with her. When perry was invited to this church he did not even show up. Shame on him and did not send no apology. He went to Cuba instead.:hammer:

I'm sick of this religious pandering too, because it is rooted in hypocrisy. I laugh at how some PLPs in parliament like to say Ingraham for instance has no regard for God because he doesnt go to church much and he doesnt use God's name like a punchline after every two sentences. Meantime the lifestyles of those who hurl such accusations..well anyway..lets not even go there.
Neil is using them and they are using him - plain and simple. This isnt about anything other than both sides getting what they want from who they think is able to give it to them.
Neil believes (and has said on TBN) that he is God's prophet and spokesman for the Bahamas, so he believes he should be up in everything and that Perry is working with God by putting him up in everything.
Meantime Bahamians like to act Christian so Perry is using the preacher with the biggest name and supposedly big influence (since he be on U.S TV and all) to attract psuedo-spiritual voters.
Its all a game man. Atleast Hubert real with his. He aint no Christian and he dont profess to be one. Better that than acting like you are something you are not, and trying damn hard to convince people that your game is legit.
