The Brits own a large amount of real estate in da US,including the Prudoe Bay oil pipeline and huge news media entities.The Japs own much of Manhattan. So? Land being wa it is will be sold and re-sold and at sum time will be re-owned by Bahamians. Meantime 50 mil,has entered our economy.

change land with people and doesnt that frighten you as well? the mere fact that he was allowed to purchase four isalnds scare me...surely the govt liason who allowed this to happen dont know what their doing or understand the value in our land. Coppefield (that's not his real name im sure- I think that's a mark twain book) and the other celebrities buying more than one piece of our island paradise...are no different than the other land speculators...

I wonder before buddy is allowed to build on the island...will archeaologist and botanist and other experts be allowed to come in and carry out research to see if anything is left from pirates and the real bahamians...like artifacts and new species of plants and fish...or will he own it now...I mean after all david said the fountain of youth was there...

Now! That is an intelligent question. It is very important the gubment monitor any environmental and archeological issues that may arise.Afta all this man may have a indefinate lease "which is wa ownership really is" on these cays,but they are still part of the Bahamas!

yes he bought musha cay & 3 other surrounding smaller cays. you're right.
