I would exchange a $750 service fee for a 1% property tax any day.

I live in Lucaya, our service charge is about $600 quarterly, this also includes our building insurance, maintenace, security, the works.
It is high but I don't mind. Hurricanes Jeans and Francis caused a substantial increased to our monthly service charges and insurance.

Lincoln Green is a fairly new area. I remember when lots in that area was under $8,000.00. Right now the price of lots in that area has increased substantially. It is a nice area and is quickly becoming populated. Multi family lots seem to be in demand right now.

Pics please? Is it on a real estate site yet? What/where's Nansen?
I don't know how much you know about Grand Bahama. Nansan Avenue is near first Baptist church on Columbus Drive. You can walk from First Baptist to Nansan Ave.
It is about 5 mins from the Hospital and about 6-7 mins from Downtown Freeport.

Sounds like a good area. If it's close to grocery stores and schools, it might be a lovely place to live.
no i live in nassau, only been to grand bahama a few times. less than 5. i brought the lot because it is next door by a friend. according to him the area is cleaned, but $700 worth, thats another story.
I only pay $140.. a year for Lincoln Green on a fresh water canal.
