The reason for the country's moral decline is not due to traditional values and definitions. Its due to the fact that people are human and can't live up to an ideal. Democracy is an ideal. Capitalism is an ideal. Christianity is an ideal.What about other religions are they not ideals as well.
Nobody can live up to them no matter how hard we try. But the reason we keep them is because they are ideals and as humans we try to better ourselves by trying to realize these ideals. The argument against such are flimsy and nihilistic. It doesn't make sense to get rid of ideals or redefine them to a lower more attainable standards. Because the ideals are objective, the lower standards are not.
If we take away the definition of marriage as a union between a man and a woman -- then what do we replace it with?? A union between two human beings?? That ideal will surely fail several tests that I can think of just off hand. The fact of the matter is that we have to stop compromising and allowing people to do as they please simply because they are deviant and valueless.

You say some dumb things.

1. If I lost my genitals in a car accident, that is completely different than saying I was born a certain way. No comparison. Gender is not between your ears. That's gender role. Gender is the same as sex. Male or female. Masculine and feminine are different. Masculine means like the male gender. And feminine means like the female gender. Which means a member of the male gender can be feminine. As a member of the female gender can be masculine. You can't change your gender, its a physical characteristic -- well I guess you can change it if you are confused and swallow a lot of hormones. The one thing you GLBT people can't seem to understand is that you can't go changing language just because you fell on your head as a child and suddenly forget what you are.

2. If you need a marriage license to look out for your well being then marry a woman and she should marry a man. You need a drivers license to drive a car right?? You can't decide to go fly a plane using your drivers license.
