When exactly did I say that Bahamian Law was Christian Law? I said Christianity influenced the Bahamian laws???
China is a one. My friend went to China and was advised not to say anything about God or Jesus or she would be targeted as some type of missionary and the government arrested persons who try to convert people from Buddhism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity_in_China
http://www.biblesociety.org/sr_18/sr_18.htm
But I can see where if a missionary tries to tell people he or she wishes to convert that Buddhism is evil and from Satan.
And the do that christians tell everyone that their brand of religion is the only way and all others are evil.
Just look at how offended you are with me. Now think if some one from another religion came here and told people Christanity was evil. HHHHmmm

You looking for a point, for something to say because you running out of points, grasping onto to straws, I explained this like 10 pages ago...go look for my comments because I am not repeating what I said, it's not my fault that you don't read properly.Thats right you did fill in and interprate the Adam and Eve story to mean marriage 1 man and 1 woman.
Marriage Laws in the Bible
1. Marriage shall consist of a union between one man and one or more women. (Genesis 29:17–28)
2. Marriage will not impede the man’s right to take concubines in addition to his wife or wives. (II Samuel 5:13; II Chronicles 11:21)
3. A marriage shall be considered valid if and only if the bride was a virgin at the time of the marriage ceremony. If the wife is later found to have been a non-virgin, she must be put to death. (Deuteronomy 22:13)
4. Marriage of a believer and a nonbeliever is strictly forbidden. (Genesis 24:3)
5. If a married man dies and leaves no children, his brother (married or not) must marry the widow (his own sister-in-law). He must then impregnate her so that she might bring up children in the dead brother’s name. (Genesis 38:6–10; Deuteronomy 25:5–10)
The punishment for the man’s refusal to comply includes allowing the woman to spit in his face and allowing her to remove his shoe from his foot. This would force him to change his name to “The house of him that hath his shoe loosed.” (Deuteronomy 25)
Another possible punishment is death by an “act of God.” (Genesis 38)
6. If a man is caught forcing a virgin woman to have intercourse with him, this is not to be punished as rape; instead, the punishment requires him to marry his victim with no possibility of divorce. She is given no say in this matter. Neither may "wiggle" out of this particular requirement, now or ever. (Deuteronomy 22:28)
Oh please try again.

hmmm you are the only one who brought up Christian Laws...I don't know why and I am 120% sure you don't know why yourself.

Seriously, I think something is wrong in your head if you can't understand the word IMPACT or INFLEUNCE or RECOGNIZES... :sparky: how does that mean the actual thing:sparky: ?
Your agruments is build on confusion, your comebacks are so awkward and off target, if someone debating apples you would throw off the convo with oranges :realmad: WHY DO YOU EVEN POST????

and what does gay people and/or marriage have to do with healthy traditional families? I can think of a thousand and one reasons why many tradtional marriages arent healthy and not one of them has to do with homosexuality. Its a copout, with a little bit of blame shifting and a whole lot of prejudice thrown in. Its also a medium to inflame certain people (ignite a lil hate in them) to get them fired up about church, donate a lil more money, all while the things you should be worried about continue to get overlooked. I cant believe that people of intelligence can even look at this and believe otherwise.

Let me take a guess......where they passing around the money basket looking for donations on rawson square? Im betting at least twice.

If you agree that traditional families are good, why argue over it?

Because non traditional families are good as well.
And this thread is about a group that want to out law non-traditional families because of their religious beliefs..

You know like the taliban

Define "Family"??

Please, can anybody describe family in a non-discriminatory way -- I would hate to leave any definitions out.
