Bahamasinmyheart:

:board2: I see you're still playing the "race card" again guess what...it doesn't work in all issues :board2:

You believe it's "prejudice" but once against you can not class yourself with the groups of: women, blacks, disabled whom have issues not because of what they do but because of what you can physically see or eventually pick up about them eg. their missing limb, deformity... etc, etc

So, if I don't agree with your lifestyle how is that prejudice? It's quite apparent you are forcing me to accept/agree with you if you throw these hate words at me...hoping that I would accept your lifestyle.

BTW..once again...no one is "worried" about what you and your boyfriend do in your personal life, you keep bringing this up like you want someone to think about it and ask. I am only concern about keeping marriage sacred in the Bahamas...I do not know neither do I care to know about the ins and outs of a gay person's life.

It appears so.

And he is right, you aren't sticking to the issue. You were trying to change the object of discussion by tugging the heartstrings of other readers. Its a good tactic when it seems as if you are losing.

I'm still wondering if you're going to answer the question I've asked two times already. I know why you haven't and I think you know why you shouldn't.

So kudos for changing the topic.

Did you go to school?

yes high school, undergrad... and then Law School. But i learned most of what i know from my parents and life in the real world. But no disrespect to you and Mikki..... the conversation seems to have degraded significantly.

this will be my last response to either of you (assuming in advance that there wont really be anything that requires a response).

good luck, have fun, and god bless

Wait wait..
Define "family" -- oh, that's right you can't.
Nevermind.
Listen, drop it. You made a groundless assumption. As a matter of fact, you were flat out wrong. Not only that, you tried to convince people that you knew what you were talking about when you barely understand the difference between singular and plural. I don't care how many wives Israelite men had. I said he was talking to a group of men. Some may not have been married some may have been married with 1 wife some may have been married to more than 1 wife. Get it right..... You said they *HAD* to have more than one because Jesus said "wives". Which is completely brainless when its obvious he was talking to more than one man. Besides, Noah had one wife. Abraham had one wife.

Genesis 16:3 (King James Version)
3And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

oops guess you missed this one. come on please please try again.

David had one wife at a time. Lot had one wife. Which doesn't even matter because you still made a mistake.
Admit it.
Shut up.
Then move on.
Thanks.
Good night.

Yes.
I feel the same......trying to forge a convoluted alliance by defining a co-relation with the struggle of black folks.Trying to compare a racial issue to one of sexual preference.Sex is a pastime, the struggle of our ancestors wa full time!
If this preoccupation with sex and sexuality is wa these people are all about,I really doubt their sincerity or the value of their input concerning important the issues of our society. :escape:

Ting-um

If they are consistent with the definition of marriage -- I have no problem.

Marriage:

1. the social institution under which a man and woman establish their decision to live as husband and wife by legal commitments, religious ceremonies, etc.
2. the state, condition, or relationship of being married; wedlock: a happy marriage.
3. the legal or religious ceremony that formalizes the decision of a man and woman to live as husband and wife, including the accompanying social festivities: to officiate at a marriage.
4. a relationship in which two people have pledged themselves to each other in the manner of a husband and wife, without legal sanction: trial marriage; homosexual marriage.
