Vicky 09-07-06, - 09:29 AM Lots of people marry for reasons other than love. Ok this is ture some people marry with out love. But that still means nothing to those who want to marry and can't.
You seem to love to post. Learn to consolidate. There is no reason why you should have 10 consecutive posts.
10 consecutive responces cause no one else posted in between my posts
Vicky 09-07-06, - 09:40 AM Ok, however, you still have the freedom (even though you may not use them) to walk with you boyfriend
to the water fountain
to the golf course
to the bus stop
to the mall
eat at a resturtant
go see a play
For me I would like to fight to keep marriage sacred between a man and a woman. You speak about freedom. I would like to have my freedom of religion intact, Very good but why should other have to keep it intact. you call Christainity bias but it's only bias to you because you do not agree with it. So do many other non christians Christainity is the religion that The Bahamas honors. In word only You can't even live by the laws in the Bible so why should other have to live by laws you pick and choose in the Bible. This is not America...The Bahamas has not taken God out of schools, so your rantings about "religious biases" will not be honored because the majority of Bahamians still care about God.
Chapter 3
(2) Except with his consent (or, if he is a person who has
not attained the age of eighteen years, the consent of his
guardian) no person attending any place of education shall be
required to receive religious instruction or to take part in or attend
any religious ceremony or observance of that instruction,
ceremony or observance relates to a religion other than his own.
It is removed if you chooes it to be. Even as an individual.
Vicky 09-07-06, - 09:42 AM Actually you are stupid.
Is this all you can do, insult people when you can't answer the questions.

Ummm, its called taking a page from Bahamasinmyheart's book. And I have answered the question. I've answered every question, refuted every assertion and reinforced every premise that I've put forth. You have done neither. Neither has Bahamasinmyheart.
I don't have to point this out. The only people this isn't obvious to is you and Bahamasinmyheart.

I said your answer was stupid. I actually said your were a "smart guy".
Maybe i spoke to soon.
Bahamasinmyheart 09-07-06, - 10:14 AM Actually you are stupid.
And it can be seen in your empty response. You don't have anything that actually presents a sensible rebuttal other than "blackness is an identity...I happily claim it". Well, I'm sorry. That painfully fails the test of logic.
Admit it, it won't matter how I answer your question. Your mind is made up. I can slap you all over this board with factual, sensible arguments. In the end you'll still dodge the truth. You'll still take it back to race. Basically, your tactic has put you into a corner and the only way you can get out of it is by retreating to the race card. Because you know that just as people aren't willing to fully accept homosexuality -- they are just as unwilling to accept the notion that the identity they so lovingly cling to is a farce.

Lol (laughing out loud).
I'm not using the race card. Im using facts. (But of course to someone like you who doesnt identify themselves as a black man you might see it that way).
Fact 1. These same arguments (religion, bible, blasphemy, end of the world) you and Winter are using against gays were used for years to argue that people of different "races" shouldnt get married.
Fact 2. Like you and your spouse.
Fact 3. They was wrong then....and you are wrong now.
Ting-um 09-07-06, - 10:15 AM My sentiments exactly.

Don't assume Swedish = White.
Vicky 09-08-06, - 08:32 AM Don't assume Swedish = White.
Really I thought Swedish means someone from Sweden.
What happend you need to redefine a word to suit you but I can't.
You know like gender = gender identity.
you remember "sex between your legs and gender between your ears".

Of course it doesnt. That doesnt change that your wife is the swedish of the non black kind. It hardly matters anyway. Thats your business....and thats the point.
