ThyPeaceFrog 08-26-06, - 06:29 PM My avatar has nothing to do with my views and opinions!:duh:
I like South Park, but I hate racial discrimination!
PS - If you looking for a fight, you've came to the right guy, but I'm a sit back for now and let you make a bigger MONGLOID of yourself!
I wasn't commenting on your avatar at all. I was trying to say that you are *****ing about how that is offensive to you because you're black, but the vast majority of people on this forum, including you I'd guess are extremely discrimatory to gays. And again threatening violence?
ThyPeaceFrog 08-26-06, - 06:30 PM And you are too stupid to realise that I saw your stupid remark and was reversing it on you, calling you a baby that wants to drink this "said kool aid"
Come off this forum talking foolishness and shaming St Andrews....your parents allow you on the computer this long???
If you can't handle an intelligent discussion between to humans, then don't try. By all means keep bringing it back to age. I'm having fun.
chancellor 08-26-06, - 06:31 PM Are you sure you are just 18??? You are very mature and very insightful...what 18 cares about new developments in stem cell research????
Yes the age is correct. I'm very concerned about developments on spinal injuries and alzheimer's...which seems to have run on both sides of my family during someones lifetime or another.
WinterGrace 08-26-06, - 06:33 PM Actually I read these forums periodically but never have time to post before I have to rush to the bathrooms, if you'll notice I've been a member for a while.
hmmm a whole year...I don't think you ran to the bathroom to throw up. I think you rush in to do something esle, but since your friend tested the waters with his/her stupid avatars and "death to the Bahamas" remarks, you got some courage to join in the "attention-seeking-15-min posts".

Very impressive for an 18 yr old, keep up the good insightfulness and try to help out your peers they making St Andrews and teenagers look...well you know...
ThyPeaceFrog 08-26-06, - 06:36 PM Okay I'm just about as done with this thread as the rest of you. So bringing it back to the original topic, I think that all should be done, even if it entails destroying an almost-human, having 5 year old children from car accidents walking again and reversing thier brain damage rather than living thier 70 years without even knowing it. You can think what you like and I'll continue to think my way. Thats the best thing about it. But really these embryo's never become in any way consious. They never have names, never hear, see, touch, taste or smell, they're just lumps of matter. And we can use them to preserve all life, and save people from long term desieses. I think it's completely irrational to deny people medical care.
chancellor 08-26-06, - 06:40 PM The whole stem cell (and abortion) issues stand on what stage do you consider something to be actually human in my opinion. I would consider any human or animal alive after the heart beats and it is conscious. Someone else would consider the egg human right after it is fertilized.

This is just an issue I feel rather strongly about and it's irritating to watch you shout down others with these opinions and not give any kind of a valid reason. Why is your opinion any more valid than mine? Because of my age? That's just a scape goat. I assure you I've researched this issue very thourougly, my cousin who is my age was born deaf, blind and with a heart defect. So it is an issue very near and dear to my entire family.

DO NOT even try to COMPARE gays to what black people went through and STILL go through....
I see ya'll want to class homosexuals with the black struggle hoping that the victory blacks got would eventually trickle down to gays....NO SIR...FIND your OWN VOICE, find YOUR OWN DREAM!!!
Did gays go through the Slave Trade?
Did gays suffer hangings in the South?
Were gays separated in schools, at resturants, movie threaters and drinking water?
Were gays ever treated like animals?
The list goes on and that's a separate thread different from stem cells research.

Did I shout down anyone on this thread about stem cells?
I have a problem with your friend's avatar? What's your problem?

If you want to know if I'm "extremely discrimatory to gays" or just discrimatory at all, just ask any of them! Or better yet, go back in to seclusion, and catch up on some reading! (of my post)
Is it that you are gay?:gi: If so, no one here (BI) ever picked on you, have they? I get the distinct impression that you didn't "stick around long enough" to be discriminated!!:gi:
Not threatening violence so to say, more like manners and discipline!:hot:

Tell me... were you yourself ever a slave? What's that? You say you haven't been. Then you should shut the **** up about it.
nationbuilder 08-26-06, - 06:49 PM Stem cells do not need to come from embryos for stem cell research and treatment. We all have stem cells right now, and we can use our own stem cells for treatment/research processes.
The embryionic angle is a matter of ease and availability, while there is also conflicting research about the relative adapatability of such stem cells.

So how many years were you in the slave trade? What was it like for you to suffer in the south? What was it like for you to be in a seperate buildings? How was it like for you being treated like an animal? You're blowing my comments out of proportion, I'm saying you were offended by "Dead Nigger Storage" but definetely would have found "Dead Homo Storage" fine.
By the way I'm not gay.
I just like the taste of semen
Just joking. haha :)

Obviously you know nothing about this topic, only certain stem cells are in adults, the most important ones are in developing humans. They multiply to build your organs and such, in simple terms ofcourse.
