maybe we can purge ourselves of the poison in our system...corrupt politicians, rbdf and rbdf officers...90 and the people who helped him have destroyed many lives...created toxic communities...I hope none of them ever see the light of day! sing 90 sing!

This is my thinking on this...while 90 "singing" as such might have local ramifications being political or otherwise, it certainly will not result in us being rid of corrupt officials - not by a long shot.

For instance, if 90 says "I gave x,y,z money", what is the result of that essentially? Its not like the U.S will ask for those people to be extradited there to face charges they have not even faced in their own country.

If he says "x,y and z had intricate dealings in my drug trade" - what will be the result of that? Will the COP immediately initiate arrest proceedings against that person or persons?

After all, 90 is now an extradited individual..people named and those who support or represent them will immediately insist that he is singing like a canary to get off, and will call any name he thinks would get him off the hook or get him a lighter sentence!

And if the names he calls inside an interrogation room makes it to the public domain - what will happen then? Lets be real. We all know corrupt individuals, be it politicians, civic leaders, preachers, etc...and those corrupt people are still right where they have always been..or have been promoted.

It essentially means that we as Bahamians tolerate and encourage corruption. 90 singing een gon change dat!

but the thing is...we know and if we do nothing...we seriously do not want change. It would be a national disgrace to turn a blind eye on the rule of law.

This goes beyond 90...we must act...we have no choice.

I think some in the American Government (allive or dead) may have already believed this. I try to have some faith that we are not totally this way, that one day the Bahamian people will actually learn what it is to get together as the one who holds power in this democracy and demand secible accountability and wise governance from the elected....something that people of other democracies do on a daily basis.

Maybe not, but if this whole thing between "90" and the PLP is true and he does "sing" to expose all, his purpose for doing it would be to get back at the PLP for turning their backs. It would be something to attempt to make the PLP fall from Parliament again.

take into consideration that 90 is a sick man...he has to cleanse he heart...he knows he's been no saint...there is something about coming to terms with your mortality that does something to people...he can right his wrongs. I would respect him if he came clean and was honest with the Bahamian people in spite of the drug taint.

Buddy 90's hay day was during the FNM's admin. & he was also locked up during their admin's rule. If he had any political baggage on someone, it was the time to use it then. Boy I tell ya,when ya drink the Koolaid.

Because, everyone else is bad and the US is all wholesome and good.
We can not police a drug dealer in our own country, but they can.
Also, we are responsible for THEIR PEOPLE being addicted to drugs.

both of bad because both are aiding and abetting to dispursing their toxic and community ad family destroying poison all over the world...dont forget the producers either ;)

I could give a sh1t what someone thinks about me...im sure 90 will sing who he sold the drugs too...well at least he should.now on the sellers end...im not so sure...and truth be told I think he's just a middleman...just the deliverer wrt the US. JMO...the place where we should hang him allowed him to have conjugal visits, three square home cooked meals a day and cell phone priviledges...Im mad yinna didnt know this. :(we need more drug dealers to feed to the sharks...

that's not our fault...dont put that burden on us "simple and fun loving island folk"...we dont produce no coke in the bahamas...go a little further down south for that...remember, the middleman is always expendable...they got their middleman in 90...I feel he's just a big pawn...good riddance. greed always lead you the same place.
