If Mary St. George's claims are proven to be true and recognized by a court in the Bahamas, the Grand Bahama Port Authority may very well be headed down a rocky road.

Then there is Ms. Carolyn and Sarah St. George, two of Mr. St George's daughter by his first wife Mary. They are claiming that some of the monies used by their father to buy his shares in the Port Authority belonged to them, the proceeds from an inheritance from their grandfather. They are also claiming that some of their monies are intermingled with the monies of their father and that some of the companies simply belonged to them.

This is gonner one big catfight, but the bad thing is that the fight will include the monies of the licencees of the Port and it's shareholders. There is a saying that "one day the bottom of the bucket will drop out", let us pray that the economy of Grand Bahama does not sink with the bottom of that bucket.

I am very surprised that after all these year, if what Mr. St. Georges ex-wife and children are claiming are true, why did he not have his affairs in order, I know his demise was rather sudden but, if there was an outstanding divorce agreement as stipulated by his daughter and ex-wife, any man should know his ex will not roll over and play dead upon his death, if money is involved.

In view of all these revelations, the licencees of the Port Authority and the people in Freeport have much to be worried about.

The Port authority should be dismantled! The port authority has kept the people in freeport marginalized and improvished for too long. We want to be emancipated, colonization has ended!
