One thing has very little to do with the other. We know what the pope said, it was the pope. A man who is supposed to symboloze peace and tolerance. The mad utterings of Beenie Man or Bounty Killer I tend to take with a grain of salt. Considering the fact that they are speaking in almost a totaly different language, about symbols that have nothing to do about nothing that we would ever corelate as anything with a twinge of substance.

I was thinking about this development as well - churches being bombed and all by muslin radicals or whatever the media wants to peg them as.

I am no fan of the Roman Catholic church, but the truth of the matter is this - christians in muslim countries are being persecuted and killed daily BY MUSLIMS because of their faith, but you dont hear outcries about that and certainly no christians are bombing mosques and other muslim holy places in retaliation for the documented atrocities being meted out against christians and against muslims who choose to convert to christianity.

And because the Pope reads some historical text about someone's idea about Muhammad, the whole world should be up in arms and now there are fears that he might be assasinated because of this? What kind of crap is this!

Do you know the absolutely horrible things Jesus has been called by muslim groups and other religious and non-religious groups over the years? Where is the global outcry about that? Who is in fear for their lives after insulting Jesus? Ask Salman Rushdie though about speaking badly of Islam...dude had to spend the rest of his life in hiding.

Its no wonder Muslims and Jews are blood brothers - they both believe the world should bow to their agendas.
