Joe Baboon 09-26-06, - 12:50 PM I'm looking at your website, and see only three homes listed. Am I missing something?
chancellor 09-26-06, - 01:46 PM Well 3 in New Providence....4 in Long island, plus some commercial and land. Perhaps they sold most of them already......the market is hot you know.

Hah. Perhaps I'm just jaded. I am in the market for a home, and am running across nothing but lazy realtors. You read the papers and see a small selection, look online and see an even smaller suggestion, yet when you call them, there are even more. Their jobs aren't very hard, sell a product that you don't need to pay for up front, and collect a large chunk off the top. The least you could do is put forth enough effort to list all your properties on your web site. Everyone I have dealt with also exude the attitude that if you ain't ready to throw down $500k on something, you aren't worth there time.
BTW, this is in no way an attack on Gavin/Knowles Realty, just me venting about past experiences.

Amen Brother, as the say goes there are none more blind, than those who refuse to see. I think the realtors in Bahamas, are used to having their caviar and eating it. It is sickening, how nonchalant most of the realtors behave. You will think, a house there is a prerequisite to the multi-million dollar club. It became apparent to me quickly, so I decide to buy a lot, and ship every shred of material to build it myself. I am sure it will be a lot better than what is offered anyway. Try this for presentation. Fly the person you are expecting to spend the seven figures in for a week. Serve him or her some of the caviar on a company yacht at company expense. And then maybe, just maybe, some of the sheds being offered at up in the cloud prices, with fat commissions built in, will lesson ones “buyers remorse”. I don’t know who they are used to be dealing with, but where I come from people get separation anxiety with their money. Even, if it is only 500,000 dollars.

my advice is to buy and sell your own property. That's where the money is.
