I'm from the beautiful island of Long Island where under the PLP admin in the 80's this island was victimzed to the max. The island at that time was split into two seats. One side was PLP and the other was FNM. Around election time they would pave up to last inch of road on the PLP side and leave the FNM side unpaved. The farmers lived in the FNM area and guess where they built the packing house. You got it right. In the PLP area. The farmers had to drive the produce over the potholes and vallies to take them to the packing house and getting bruised up. After the produce was packed it was brought over that bad road to go to the dock that was miles away. The electricity, water and telephone services stopped at the end of the PLP side. The people suffered under their watch. When the govt changed everything was put into prospective. Now it look like they are spiting Long Island again.
