Does anyone know the most current Nassau city boundaries a.k.a. city limits. I heard that in 1954 the boundary was moved from Nassau Street in the west to St Albans Drive and from Mackey Street in the East to Village Rd. Is this true? Was it an Act Of Parliament or a colonial review?

What is the current state of play regarding official Nassau boundaries?

I just wish people would stop ignorantly referring to the whole island as "nassau"

That would be interesting to know. When we moved into our home on Village Rd. (in the mid to late 50's) it was "out in the country." I think the city of Nassau ended at St. Matthews Church. Has anyone got a map that shows were the city limits are now?
