Laws are made to protect the citizens .. if this is a law, who is it protecting by not allowing the citizens to veiw the findings of something that already happened. We already know the prison is a disgrace, thats nothing classified.
They dont enforce the simplest laws for more serious crimes, yet they would
like to waste our money over something that every citizen has a right to know. This isnt some office word document with a companies accounts and clients on it, this is something that concerns us all, this is something we were not allowed to research ourselves for lack of access to the prison and witnesses. It was done on OUR buck and we are entitled to hear the findings now, actually a while ago, not 2-10 years from now ... The government is slow and this time they got caught with their pants down.

They avoid having to talk full on, about a report that they part inherrited and more or less adopted to some extent. Talk about the seemy crappy technicalities and legalities for about a month and a half, and watch the juice for this story fizzle out....LOL...

The issue is, 1. We know the prison all jook up, but the report is making it official, 2. If the report is leaked, before it has the final seal of approval, we can open ourselves up to another round of "hold-upness" by the PLP. 3. The leaker, did more DAMAGE to the cause, than he actually helped, because a) the PLP can say it was NOT finished, and this is why it was not released, and getting to the bottom of this extra matter can take time and b) The leaker may be found out, I mean my God...this is the Bahamas, it should NOT be that difficult.

When I call over zealous FNM's a pack of losers, with no grace or shame I mean it.
Good FNM's would not be so dumb, as to condone wrongful activity, knowing the peanut butter can fly smack back in thier faces.
Even if the information was useful, which I doubt..because even Rory know, the report can not say anything other than the prison was a pit-hole, and just underwent major overhaul in the last two months.

Dis is it. No matter what argument you make, so long as its not in favor of one side or another, you get dismissed as being politically bias and therefore incredible.

Kendall Nottage made a statement the other day..he said that during the Pindling administration, they did such a good job of brainwashing the masses that even they now cant go back to those people and get them to change their minds about the PLP.

No matter what you say, a strong PLP supporter cannot discuss this issue without political sensitivities being touched - why? Because right now the PLP is in power.

Its that same kind of thinking that allows some people here to insist that a law has been broken, but they do not know the law, cannot state the law, and are obviously not even certain therefore where and if it exists on the books.

The only law of illegal duplication that exists on the books relative to documents or intellectual property is the copyright law - which does not cover this matter.

Some of yall remind me of devout religious people, who will sware up and down that this and that is right or wrong - but cannot turn to where in their holy scriptures it says that, and when they get to a scripture they think says that, most often they are reading that passage out of context.

But because the preacher said its so - its so.

Since the PLP says its corrupt for the info to get into the hands of the Journal - its corrupt..even though you have no evidence of your own to support that claim.
