Thank you for your input. Let me ask you a question. You say that you do not believe in the Bible. You implied that it was an unreliable document. But you end by saying, "To me that is the world of Christ teachings." From where did you learn about this Jesus if not from the Bible? I did get these teachings from the Bible but I won't live my life by them word for word. For me its the messages in Genreal. Also there are more than whats in the Bible. There are the Gnostic gospels ( not sure of the spelling here) I had a Gnostic Bible in my hands for about a day and what I saw in it was pretty intresting.

Its the message more than its the messanger.

Thanks for your answer Vicky. Yes, you had the spelling correct. It is the Gnostic Gospels. I have a copy but I have lent it out, I hope it comes back one day! Have you ever read anything by Elaine Pagels? She writes well on those Gospels.

I have, on CD, a copy of the Gospel of Thomas read by Jacob Needleman. As I am sure you know, this Gospel is by St. Thomas the one-time doubter, and is one of the most important, and quoted, of all those Gospels discovered in Nag Hammadi in 1945.

This Gospel is so "Buddhist like" that it is incredible!
