I have a special place I go

I wish that I alone did know

This island that gave me freedom



Freedom to love and understand

The special ness of fellowman

The sovereignty of Gods great hand

This island, Eleuthera, I call home



I have a special place I go

Where freedom reigns and this I know

I see it in faces that glow

These people brought me home



I’ll come again when’Er the chance

To laugh and sing, Romance and dance

This is a special circumstance
