My friends in Nassau have them..they say the service is bad. But its on the GSM network so thats to be expected.

When does BTC expect to fix the problem.

They are trying to promote these products, yet can not deliver?

lol.... arent we optimistic....judging by the responses they get at their town meetings i know they are pretty aware of our displeasure....as long as we finacially support their lousy system we will continue this same nonsense..despite all them "cell sites" they brag about putting up.

BTC aint worth...hmmmmmm anyway....and i twice as mad cause i been to the town meeting (to try win one phone)and i aint win crap:realmad:

But on regular TDMA (which I still have cuz I'm fightin da power a see!) you are getting 10cents per minute (in the evenings anyways). Whats the point in pushing a bunch of products if the service is bad? It makes no sense at all.

Well I dont own a cellphone, so I cant comment much on the service. But is the service that bad (so many persons rushing out to buy cellphones). Hopefully, their techs will get everything sorted out.

Nah you know Bahamian's big eye, dey see dem pretty gadgets and want dem... and willing to pay $500 for em... Is that really the price?

Does anyone know what are the prices of their packages (email access, web, phone) on the blackberry?

Are you allowed to use any RIM product or do they require specific models?

I think the Blackberry is a waste of time and money. I was fortunate to be a beta tester for GPRS that allows net access on my cell. I then found a mini browser and downloaded it to my ph. BTC told me i wouldnt be able to view all websites on my ph. Well i can with the new browser. only thing i camt do is open attachments. Its what im using now. so much 4 Blackberry. Dont need it.

Id prefer to have wireless internet for my pocket PC ... keep the cell a phone like its meant to be and get us island wide wireless internet already BTC (i got the product they need, if they want the link and contact numbers? They need to look into WISPs) .. actually my cell's also a flash light .. :escape: :D

The main issue though were the towers... BTC has the towers needed for it pretty much island wide ... however I do know a guy with a couple towers but he was always just too busy and it never went anywhere, though he has an even larger tower now plus everything on solar ... might still be worth looking at ... had the product for it (can look for it again).
