driving up shirley street this evening (night) to go to esso on the run, right in the middle of the road were what seemed to be rocks/bricks piled up on top of each other. didnt look like an accident, just made it through them inches from writing off.

Anyway, be warned, they seem to be doing this again, stoping/slowing down cars to rob them, they normally throw rocks or stones at the cars especially if they dont stop. I saw a cop from a patrol car in esso and told him, but he was more concerened with his coffee! though he said he would take a look, yeah, ok, when tomorrow morning when someone is dead!!

ps. this was just before kemp rd.

Be warned of Big Trucks on bad roads also.

Look at what I ran into on the round about at Independence Drive and East Street South.

Yeah those trucks can be annoying also!

Its really surprising more people arent killed in nassau from other people doing such dumb things. I have to swurve off the road all the time from big rigs driving down small roads that im sure they arent supposed to be on ..anyway

I was very concerned when I saw a report about this on ZNS t.v. My husband and I were on that roundabout around that time yesterday afternoon - must have been right before this happened.

It is an absolute miracle that no one was killed. One man's car was mashed in at the back. He could have been killed. In fact, dozens of people could have been killed. What if it had fallen over on a jitney or caused a chain reaction with several vehicles?

Years ago a cousin of my husband was tragically killed when she was driving up a hill behind a truck (I think it was a flat bed). The load slid off the truck and onto her car. And I still see trucks all the time with unsafe loads and the police seem to do nothing about it.

Too many people are killed here through freak accidents, including accidents on the job.
