Re: Rock Sound Commonage Association.
At this time, when a court action has been brought to my attention via a news article under the heading: “Former MP taken to court over seafront property,” in the Nassau, Bahamas ‘Tribune’ of 19.10.2006, I wish to make the following statement.
“The Rock Sound Commonage Association has represented the Commoners of Rock Sound, Eleuthera, Bahamas since the time of the original land grant. The Association consists of four elected ‘lifetime’ Trustees; an annually elected Committee, of which I am the President, and a Membership of all Rock Sound Commoners.
We have no knowledge of any ‘self-appointed’ Rock Sound Economic Development Association with a claimed membership of five.
We have no issues, past or present, with Mr. George Baker.”
Van Pyfrom Oldham (Mrs.),
President, Rock Sound Commonage Association.
Cannot make a comment, other than the above release, as the 'affair' is sub judice. V.P.O.
