Furthermore, when did Mr. Gibson say the reason for her residency was because she owned a home?

lol..he said this when the first controversey about the matter erupted. And anyway he didnt need to say it - the law requires it to be so.

Where he went wrong though was to try to imply that Callendars deceived the govt - cuz ya know that was gonna cause Callendars to unleash the dragon and make sure all the details of this sordid affair got out there...:bored: "these are the days of our lives..."

I never heard him say that.I'm sure he said she was a major investor in this country. And the facts are,she is apart of a group, now if she's only fronting, that will be on the heads of our deal makers, law firms included. BTW: Why is it you think that Bahamians can't see the forest for the trees?

lol! Im sorry Marchial, but what you have just stated is not correct at all. She is NOT part of any group!..and I wont even bother to ask you where you got that from because its 100 percent false. And yes Shane also said she is a major investor - which also is a total lie.

And as for us missing the forest for the trees..dats cuz da Bahamas dont have no forests bey! We have bush! :D

We have so much more important issues to address, like making sure male and female defined as marriage in consititution

If that is one of the most pressing issues in our country, then we really do have more problems than I thought.

We have a minister blaming the victims if they get raped, another minister selling the country to with no moral fibre for $10,000 and a PM who thinks we're too stupid to read facts and figure out that he doesn't hold his fellow party members responsible for their actions that damage property that we paid for through taxes.

Gay people getting married should be the last thing that gets anyone in The Bahamas riled up. Anyone who even tries to make this an issue: when the rest of the world has given their gay citizens all the rights of their straight ones, the Bahamas will be one of the last countries to do so, kicking and screaming.

This post was a little OT, but really, one of the last countries- in the world. We hate change especially social change, so have no fear.
