Well maybe the way that Bahamians accsept having one of the worst social services world wide. Drugs are so commonly used and it really affects this country, since the population in the Bahamas are so small, the problems gets very visual to all(and the main industry are tourism)
somebody should clean up this mess.
And almost every man i know have a sweatheart or more, some of their wifes actually doesnt mind?? Well you all know what i mean about that.

The crime we all can see, are a reflection of how the Nation are governed.

Well maybe you could influence ewerybody you know to improve the moral(stop all the sweetharting)and start using condoms.

Honestly whats wrong with the Bahamians, even the priests have sweetharts and children outside their marriage.

There are plenty of places where the population is small but not falling for the types of crime ills we see today in our nation. Take Bermuda for example: a tiny colony out in the Atlantic with nothing like the sort of crime or sweethearting or corruption we see in the Bahamas. Sure, it is there but seems to be well-controlled. The Cayman Islands is another example...oh I forgot, they are colonies still overseen by the United Kingdom. If we have taken it upon ourselves to become an independent nation, I think 30 years is long enough to have certain things under more control and more orderly than they are today.

We are not being given decisive leadership from our Government and this must improve. Our government seems overwhelmed with the many social tasks facing them.

I totally agree with you, so hopefully people given more time and education will do good.

Bahamians in general are not proactive or concerned enough when it comes to serious issues impacting our society like AIDS, incest, infidelity, public school reform, cost of living, stray man- eating dogs and the stupid owners that dont take responsibilty for their mutts, murder of children, drugs, prostitution, teenage pregnancy, gang voilence, abuse and neglect of the elderly, the list can go on and on and on. The amount of sweethearting in this country like the amount of flies out on Potters cay. It disgusts me particularly because of the amount of lives it impacts. To all the married women and men out there, keep ya legs closed and your zippers up till you reach home to your husband/wife, for goodness sake. AIDS kills and it killin plent of us.
