Sounds more like voting for the PARTY to me.
Honesty is a rare commodity in todays society. And on BI is seen as often as those unicorns Vick likes to talk about so.Just being on this board proves Bishop Gomez's those assesment of Bahamian society on the whole on a daily basis. :(

that's beacuse they vote for the person not the colour of his skin.

No...
Because they can stand the little bit of negroes on that side, and can not stand the huge lot of negroes on the other side.
:hammer:

Are you trying to tell me that the FNM does not pander to the "white" demographic?

To the extent you portray it is not existent.
I allways say "virtually" non-existent.

As long as there is civilization, there will be discrimination. But the oppression you are trying to lead us to understand in the Bahamas is ridiculous.
Last time I checked, we had poor white and blacks...and rich vice versa.

Get a hold of your self, and stop looking for sympathy.
The majority does not care.

Which political party in this country don't! The last two governments in this coutry has taken "pandering" to the white man to "atlantis-scale" in their JA notion of anchoring each island!

We all the time talking about the Haitians taking over! They een the ones "boongying" the government into givin away our national heritage! Our FNM and PLP white people fire sale...I mean give-away is nothing but pandering away our projected life to white men!

Hell this government has made nearly 40-50,000 rich white people "bahamians" home owners in four short years, thus within reach of Bahamian status...the largest upper-class per capita in the history of mankind! Almost one quater of the population moving in because they now own homes and can stay here...combined with approximate 5% rich whites Bahamians already here...in addition to those "imports" working for big bucks all over the place!

This group will become our new Bahamian upper-class...making majority of Bahamians of Haitians, Cuban, Jamacain, TCI and indigenous all the underclass...just like they did to the Hawiians! Like PC says all the time...they ger need people to work. But he fails to understand that they will need "slaves" to do chores...the SH!T PART OF THE HOUSHOLD CHORES AT THAT!

Ever heard of upward gentrafication...google it...you will be amazed at what we are in for after those insane pandering to the white man by every government in the past...only thing, this government has become the Apollo 11 crew at doing the "pandering two-steps"!

This question is for you...from 1967 to now...how many "black" investors...Bahamian or otherwise were given such concessions and opportunities as "white" people were given under Pindling, Ingraham and to an insane extent under Perry Christie's governments? Our nation landscape is littered with "black" people who had to become dealers, political hanger-ons or crooked to make it among those governments! Rev. Gomez told the world that we have become a nation of "tiefers"...some even called us a nation for sale (HE FAILED TO TELL WHY WE HAD TO TIEF TO SURVIVE). HELL, WE ARE A NATION FOR SALE AGAIN...ONLY THIS TIME WE ARE LITERALLY SELLING THE DAMN GROUND FROM UNDER OUR FEET!

Why is this? Is it because the black man een gat no money...or he can't run no damn major investment? If you answer negtorry to both of the above...then it simply means that our governments have never seen it important to "pander"....yes, pander to the black man...period!

Uhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Carry on smartly now!:cutie:

Oh, such grandiouse anti-white bigotry with ample venom! But, where's the proof? The facts, cites that will back your claims(dilussions)? Were you paid by national race baiters for such statements, or did you accept such sh...uhm stuff... hook, line and sinker?

But, I will give you credit for adding xenophobia, ex: against haitians, cubans et al. Albeit, it's negative credit. At least it made your trash worth reading.

do you think that the discrimination is anti-white, or anti-son of bay street boy? the tensions between conchs and blacks is very different from the tensions between blacks and whites.

i'd be wary of working with a bay street boy who didn't acknowledge the pain of his family's past (which brent hasn't) too, nevermind the fact that the sons of a hard red farm boy from current presently own more than 20,000 acres of crown land on eleuthera now. splain' me dat.

Lissen here Boy........Whether the investors are white, asian or black makes no difference, wen da object is to relieve dem of their cash.Attracting foreign investors is one of the few alternatives we as a recource poor nation can exploit. It is da responsibility of da gubment to assure we as a nation are not selling our future to dem investors as well,by making sure once enough financial stability is here to encourage more and more Bahamian enterpreneurs .Sorry to inform you,but da whites and asians have most of the money in da world (for now) and we got to start somewhere.:sailing:

if their land wasnt gained throughh ill-gotten means I have a hard time seeing what the problem is...land ownership is something we dont take seriously in this country...well at least those of us who dont understand its importance.

i think her perspective is comign from the visionless and royal bahamian sell-outs eminating from the deals with foreign investors. We are giving ourselves a raw deal...come on now even you know that its ridiculous to have prime Bahamian land to go for $500 an acre...when we have virgin keys going for millions...
