Well, if a man like you can not capitalize his words; a man who went to college. then most certainly this young lady is allowed to miss a few words.
You are just so sick and silly bro. You do not know how I am close to vomit capacity when I see you type.
:taped2:

no the gentleman has a valid point. I hope the original poster focuses more on her education and reading books...
...and understands that this pageant foolishness is cupcakes in the reality of life...you maybe sad now but later...much later this too shall pass and you will laugh about it...i promise ;)

quietly,
maybe the "reigning queen" knows her mommy buy the pageant people so her daughter could win...that's why she's acting so slky because she wasnt allowed to win on her own?

***kneels on the floor to pray***

Father in Heaven I pray not to even be a pageant mom...I pray that my girls want to go fishing and sailing as play dress up and dolly more than to be mix up in foolishness like this...Lord this is all im asking you. T-

Yes i was very anger and need to get the info out, no i was not a contestant, not related to or met any of those individual prior to participating.
I do have many mistakes because i did not proof read my letter, so i apologize for the bad read.
Fortunately most of the girls understood and got over the drama, but still wanted to make a stand for all interested yound ladies who are interested in this so called program.

Thanks for all your input and spread the word to any unsuspecting young ladies.

This impartial decision was made in every aspect of the "program". Example, former judges were allowed to enter their children into the competition, relatives of the committe and founder was also allowed to enter. In addition, contestants whom took part or currently apart of Yodelphy Modeling Angency directly involved with the "program" were also allowed.

What is wrong with a Yodelphy girl entering the competition?
So what if a young ladies parent was a former Judge or a relative of the committee and founder.

Are you saying that because some of the young ladies got some training that the program is unfair?

That is like saying because my granddaughter trains with the Barracuda Swim Club that she should not be allowed to compete in the Nationals..

Its about being the best and picking the best.

I am not saying it is not rigged and that would not be fair.

Funny thing is, the Bahamas so small, that someone will always be able to make some sort of accusation.

No Vicky, not that. The ladies were from the same modelling company and so were the judges. It is like going to court and the person who is accusing you father or mother is the judge.

That is so true the bahamas is very small, but this is way you take the necessary precautions to verify every aspect of a competition setting. Not just blinding going ahead with scandals and think the contestants are not worth the time or money to have a well organised and credible competition.

The committe themselves refrain from using the term pageant but rather a program for young girls. Which is ridiculous, to hold a title and represent a country aboard is a direct result of a pageant.

Bahamians need to get it together when it comes to representatives send international. This is way we never place, due to the bias we have, thinking outside the box is needed.
BADLY

Who better to judge a competition than those that are experienced in it.
Now a young lady might have a parent as a judge but that is only 1 vote.

Other that that we have to depend on integrity of the judges or import them.

I don't think a fisherman could judge an ice skating competition.

You have got to be kidding vicky!

You see nothing wrong with a judge, being in a pageant, who has a modelling agency, who's clients are in the competition!?!?
:dgi:

You can't possibly be serious!

Did the winner belong to the agency? Did the judge in question vote more favourably for the members of the agency than the other judges? If not then obviously it wasn't that big of a deal.

Well that makes the situation a little different, but, still a conflict of interest no doubt.
With that, you would be surprised if a back deal compromise was reached, for the girl who won and she may be taken on by the agency.

No man. Having a judge with a direct stake is wrong. For all the sensible reasons, corruption, false claims. Things can and obviously did go wrong.

I do not know the answers to the questions I asked, just threw them out there. I figure the original poster does. If the winner was in the agency I think she would have said so though.

Well then they shouldn't have pagents then.I know at a judo tournament all the judges are affiliated with one school or the other.
