Why won't this thread still be active, this is a serious issues that we as bahamains have to address. No by discussing behind close doors but to each other.

What is your view? to just remove the thread or do u actually have one?

WOW D'VANYA BEST FRIEND; DIRANNE TYNES not wonder ur post was so full of emotions, not to save miss teen bahamas program, but to save your medium to crown your friends and love ones.
Well unfortunately Auntie Marsha, you and everyone had another thing coming.

hhhmmmm yes very ironic, maybe that is why Ms. Jones son only hugged Ms Tynes on stage when the event was over.

Oh let us not forget the way MS. Tynes was the one to pray numerous time the night with statements of " Lord make sure the current queen give her crown away graciously, and let their be not haters, against the me oops i mean the new queen." as time draw closer to the end of the event she just keep saying it and i wonder y.

She should have prayed that like years before let this group of girls just accept the outcome and don't fight like true human beings.

Yes what do you want him to do? The commitee members admitted they were strap for cash. Wonder how much the Gomez paid them for letting Diranne win. What they want to pay Rory off too.LOL

LMAO

Abiskan Moon-Angel ah my that is soo sad,:gi: you believe i would have to be a student to have address this issue. Is it not a serious issue to address matters of our young bahamians, these girls were not focused only on the Pagaent part of this. :cutie: They actually just wanted to have fun, meet new people and meet a goal. That was stripped from them, from the very same people who told them to believe in themselves and good always prevail.

:voodoo: Right is Right and Wrong is Wrong lets get it together.:voodoo:

Well, i am just one way of making sure their points are made, and in doing this along with other aspects of voicing their experience. I stand with them no matter how long it takes.:hammer:

:shhh: Sounds like u really want to buy someone off,:shhh:
well thanks for your view it is so appreciated.

I think Miss Teen Bahamas is a wonderful experience for young lady's all over the Bahamas and it should not be stopped. Secondly, I also thought the judges were really bias and BRITTNEY PERCENTIE should have gotten the tiltle as miss teen bahamas. To me she did extremely well on her performance and she was just robbed of her title. Better luck next time Brit!!!

Firstly, It was proven that Ms. Kasprintina Jones got the scores cards the night of the prelims which was not sealed (She tried to say different but a judge put her in her place). The committee members had full access to minipulate scores. Secondly it was also proven that the judges signatures was not consistant. FRAUD the committee members shoul go to JAIL.
Thirdly, any one of those girls could be the true winner, even the ones not in the top five. (Diranne is the LOSER).

Yes the Miss Teen Bahamas Program seems to be a worthwhile experience, but the competition part should be stopped. Listening the judges reaction to the final 5 and the winner they were just as shock as all of us when Ms Tynes won and when the top 5 was called. It seem to be some disarray in the judges faces. From the final two i believe Ms. Percentie should have won also.

Just make sure she goes into a real professional pagaent like the ones mentioned above. She is an awesome girl, it was great she was able to participate this year. She also made it possible for us to stand up for girls this year.
PS she was not the only one robbed

We continue to talk about this pageant being stopped for various reasons, however, my plead comes from the hearts of the island people. A representative of Harbour Island, Miss Brittany McQueen exceeded the expectations of the judges. Numerous trips were made to Nassau in preparation for this pageant. Initially we see that she is at a disadvantage. Nevertheless she put on an astounding performance that clearly surpassed all others in this competition. For years we have seen many competitions in which family islands participated and were cheated. A very good example is Harbour Island's participation in Junior Junkanoo. They don't want anything to leave Nassau. The only way out was for them to give the crown to Diranne Tynes. They had to give her decimal points just so she could pull it off. Yall need ta talk dat, lemme get bahamian nah!!! Same s*** happen year after year. And they wan talk bout one bahamas!! briland soon be independent. Yea, its yall who cause us to be divided cause we can't stand together to give young ladies a chance to honestly participate in a competition. Like they don't care about island people, anyhow, das my five cents.

Yes that is true Mr. Bobby verfied he knew nothing of an envelope or anything being sealed. He was very confused to what a parent was asking about, then ms jones :footmouth when she stated that "Yes it was sealed when she recieved it" then changed her story to " No i was given the score cards from the judges, i then place them in an envelope in front of the judges and signed it" which the judge did not contest too.
Fraud is definitely the matter her, this matter was compounded by the fact that there were no copies of anything to verify what the committe was saying. NOT EVEN The final tally sheet Mr. Wilson complied using " a simple excel spreadsheet" as he so calmly put it was made readily available or that it even existed to the parents and contestants.

Seeing that the scores were manipulated the top 5 finalist maybe have played differently if they handled correctly.

CONCERN I HEAR U LOUD AND CLEAR, I was also concerned for Miss Harbour Island, Ms. Precentie when coming to many practices and events contestants would ask where is Brittany and committe members would say they don't know. Contestants looked visibly upset when the was the response. I loved her float costume. Talk about homegrown dat gal was sharp.

To make matters worse, the didn't call her name when it was evening gown segment, nor did they even bothered to write in her sponsor's name in the program booklet. She represented very well in every aspect, not just because she was from briland BUT due to the fact she was a true young lady in all aspect.

They gave most of the girls those decimal points which i found so STUPID when the system was whole numbers from 1-10.

I felt that was they way they found it easy to fraud the score cards. how many score sheets did they actual give her? because some only got 7!!!!:gi:

BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THIS that was their only way out and OUR way IN
