It's A Family Affair

If you only want family and close friends to WIN then keep it in the family. Have your family members participate ONLY. Leave our other Bahamian Young ladies out of it. Have a big fight between Yall self. You could name it The Cindy Thompson Family Affair Teen Pageant. And for THE BAHAMAS sake leave our name out of it.

This has to stop!!!...Bombardment!:hammer: :voodoo: ...Junior Junkanoo, and plus Miss teen Bahamas how can we as island people allow city folk...to keep our titles away!?...This is detestable, and scandalous!...We need em' smart!...I personally, ask Miss Brittany Percentie-McQueen an abundance of pageant q's and received excellent feedback from her!...Now imma tell ya straight up!!! YA CHEAT!...They didn't put who she was sponsored by in the booklet...or didn't even place her present title in there!...As Miss Teen Harbour Island!...*** on now y ya ga pick someone who cant even answer a Damn question right! I am sure miss teen harbour island knows that she was suppose to win that pageant anyway!...decimal points!, g! I have yet to see d. p's in pageants! Jus so that they cannot pick the one and only! Gal u is silly, u mean Matt Knowles he doesn't even have not experience judging such an event.

But u right no weapons formed against them will propser. Thoses girls are blessed girls including their parents who will stand by them and the other girls who was cheated also.

I feel sorry for the system cause they set Ms. Tynes right up :realmad: when and if she goes off to Miss Teen galaxy international she will be eaten alive on and off stage. I do feel bad for the bahamas rep though in this one cause she ga tear our lil country to pieces. Yeah da whole thing is contaminated :titongue:

man it was like everyone got the memo expect five girls ms armbrister, ms bastian, miss bain and ms lynes,ms percentie.
I mean ballroom gowns need to be destructed everyone had on the same outfit but different color.

Off da shoulder and puff at the bottom.
I knew who really blow me away me away with her dress Ms Armbrister. The way that dress fit her like a second skin was gorgeous... the colour complimented her skin and stage lights.

Ms Bain gown was also very cultured and would have liked to see both of them on the final night stage. I guess they both got the message from the committee members that their gowns were not evening gowns maybe that is why they changed.

We gats a lot on our chest. Some of the girls was tricked into not wearing the same dress that they wore at Prelims because they know if the wore the same dress on final competition. Ms Tynes dress wouls look like RAGS. Ms Armbrister win dat hands down. Not only beautiful on the outside but inside.

Ms D'Vanya as a child what can you change from the program? The legacy that your mother left behind istotally tarnished and disfigured. Ms. Marsha Lambert herself recruited girls from the Yodephy agency. I myself personally heard Ms. Diranne Tynes referring to Ms. Lambert as Auntie Marsha. You yourself D'Vanya aren't you Diranne's best friend.........................................how ironic.
This was my first pageant that I've ever been in and "a fisrt impression is a lasting impression". In this pageant I don't know what the judges were looking for in a queen. But Diranne and myself were the best of friends during the program but after she took the crown that she knows that she didn't work for and knew it wasn't hers it was destroyed.


Umm how old are you 17? 18? you being 1 2 or 3 years older than me makes you an adult?? Anyways! since u wanna call me a "child" Since you obviously DONT KNOW i can change anything and everything about this program after my mother and father passed the program became mine LEGALLY .. the only reason I am not involved is becouse i am in school and also to avoid people saying things just as you said "D'Vanya arents you Diranne's best friend how ironic" Me being her nest friend had NOTHING to do with her winning! Are you trying to "stop the program" because its "unfair" or is this just you being angry becouse u did not win or make top 5? and i said that with NO disrespect it was only a question and somthing for every1 elese to think about. If you won the pagent some1 elese would have said you was not suppose to. NO MATTER WHO would have won there was goin to be an angry group of peopl e doing the same thing. The commetti of this program has NEVER had ANYTHING to do with who won.

I was and srill am full of emotion becouse my mother is CONSTANTLY being DISRESPECTED I am full of emotion becouse I am trying my hardest to USE YOUR suggestions for next years pagent to make this all end but YOU are constantly coming up with these out of the blue matters that have NOTHING to do with who won Miss Teen Bahamas. You saying I was not trying to save to the program was WRONG and uncalled for and NOT TRUE. You need to take a minute and read what you write before you submit you are making this very personal when it does not need to be!!

Well Ms. Thompson if u feel u can change it then do it. Remove the competition part of the program, being in high school under the age of 18 it is not yours legally as yet. U have a guardian which is responsible for u and your well being.

If miss harbour island or any other girl would have won THIS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM. The only complaint would have been the unprofessionalism of the committee. And they way the had to make sure each contestant had a trophy regardless if they won it or not. But you guys and yes i include u know seeing that u have formented your involement as a schemer also brought your plan to light when diranne won.

Ms. Bastian, Ms. Lynes and every contestant has a right to speak their mind about feeling "punked" ( i use that term because this foolishness seem like da show).

U being a child or for a better term a teenager at least, was not more involved because to the committe your opinion doesn't count. Just be a good little girl and give out certificates at the end of the program and be statisfied that u did help in the development of young bahamian women.

For u and diranne to be friends unlike "sweety"(ms bastian) is starting not to seem too far fetched. Birds of a feather flock together. Answer me this were u there with her the night of the party drinking and acting the fool, when she made fun a friend's brother death?

poor poor little girl and i call u this with the utmost respect, this is not about your mother, not one has mention your mothers credibility or ability to run a functional program. She has passed for five years now, and during this time the competition has been plagued with problems.

how about u take a minute and breath.

U r not trying to save the PROGRAM u striving to save the COMPETITION.

Obviously that part is more recognition for the program, but dear it is the downfall. As far as judging why don't u judge leave it to the professionals, like experienced individuals even more so unfamilar individuals.

It is very personal, have u not read harbour island residents' response, contestants' response, sponsor's response.
IT IS PERSONAL, THEIR MONEY, TIME AND SELF ESTEEM OF INDIVIDUALS WHERE SHATTERED.

Well it is suppose to be a $3000 dollars scholarship for the queen, and numerous otherprizes for her and her court.

IT was never confirmed,said or announced at the competition, told to the contestants or whenever asked about it. Everyone (committe members) faces went blank, when asked again at the presentation party.
The immediate past miss teen bahamas just fought for her prize of scholarship money that only goes towards COB, to be paid one week before she had to give up her crown.

I think it is about the fame for the commitee members, but it was far more heartfelt for the contestants. That is why it is such a commotion!! lol
