So ... without getting rid of this program ... the Pagent ... are there any ideas on how to make it better, for the better of all involved ..as it does have the Title "Bahamas" in there, it somewhat belongs to all of us Bahamians ..

Also ... Arent you all around the same age .. even if 1-3 years difference .. you are all Teens right? LOL .. to me that is basically a child anyway .. but thats just my view as im an old fogie now .. :) Either way Im sure you ladies are mature enough to talk this over like adults regardless of age, probably better than most of us men do here..

Sir the purpose is to give the bahamas a forum to discuss issues that affect them. This is our way of letting the facts be heard, while giving awareness of what going on. Therefore no one can go into this type of situation blindsided like the past contestants.

Lets stay on track then, how do u intend on improving the competition part of the program? This year all the contestants are on one accord we want a change in the system for the benefits of interested young girls.

Well it is suppose to be a $3000 dollars scholarship for the queen, and numerous otherprizes for her and her court.
IT was never confirmed,said or announced at the competition, told to the contestants or whenever asked about it. Everyone (committe members) faces went blank, when asked again at the presentation party.
The immediate past miss teen bahamas just fought for her prize of scholarship money that only goes towards COB, to be paid one week before she had to give up her crown.
I think it is about the fame for the commitee members, but it was far more heartfelt for the contestants. That is why it is such a commotion!! lol

I'am sayin I hearin what missteensup is sayin and I'am gonna fix it!! There is nothing I can do about this years compitition but I can make next years better. And I have already apoligized for any inconvineces and missunderstandings that took place. But nothing about this compitition was predetermined. All of this information pertaining to the final result being a cheat is missunderstandings. When this pagent comes aroun nex year this thread will be about how far the program and compitition has come!! But it seems as thoug every1s heart is set on stoping it.

What would u change about this years competition? Why do u feel stopping the competition part of the program is not necessary?
