we have addressed the problems now lets us give some resolution.

I think the pageant should be judged by international judges.
Second, bribery claims should be investigated to the fullest and any cntestant who is caught in a bribery claim should be suspended until investigations are complete.

Judging and rules should be up front and direct.

Since is it a programme to BUILD character, maybe the judges and the "Bahamians" involved can work on actually doing that by NOT shouting and roughing up at our young darlings. along with spreading confident words to all contestants.

There is no reason why this pageant should be under this type of controversy again.

BTW....$3,000.00 is a lot of scholarship money if you have no money to begin with.
COB and BBCC that may get you through a year of study. No matter how you cut it, $3000.00 is $3,000.00.

I personally think that since it was established as a program with a mission statement "Maintaining a strong commitment to assist with the development of our young Bahamain Women and positively influence their lives"

The main focus should be the programme and not the Pagaent part of it. Obviously the mission statement has lost its gloss over time and needs a new paint job.

Today, experienced and dilligent individuals have obtain the official title and franchise of Miss Teen Bahamas International, Miss Teen Bahamas World, Miss Teen Commonwealth, Miss Teen Bahamas Universe. So what vaildity do this title have?

The director directly needs to address the problem head on, not the child of Ms. Thompson. Proper systems and Tally counting should be put in place in BLACK and WHITE. To avoid any confusion.

Proper Public Relations need to be handled, to provide the facts, guidelines and information to the public and interested parties.

Preparation is needed in every program and when you rest on someone else lorels like the legacy of Cindy Thompson and don't maintain it will end like this.

For them to truly understand this the pagaent / competition needs to be suspended. While Minister Neville Wisdom cleans house.


Every question was answered with "To do that, is too expensive, we don't have the funds" okay then we get it.

Discontinue the competition, rely on your sponsors and the entry fee each girl is paying to enter this program. Get your financial situation together and then think about it again.

I feel the Minister of youth should get involved. He is mandated to address any issue that affects the youth of The Bahamas.

I would not reccomend this pageant to any young lady it is to unorganize and bias not to mention scandalous.

These girls self esteem has been shaken by this system but with time they will get over it. Hold your heads up high you are all WINNERS

The committee needs to pay for any girl that needs councelling so that they do not internalize. THIS SERIOUS

This pageant needs to be stopped because it only confuses the Bahamian public. This is not the official title so why even use it. The franchaises have already been given to professional individuals so why even have this one.

Keep it as a program to build young ladies up not tear them down.

im not upset at all quite frankly i dont give a hoot about the pageant...just was adding a little humour to it is all....would comment on ure insults but i think thats what you want unfortunately i have better things to do than to run on with someone who obviously has too much time on his/her hands

Ms. Cindy its not the fact that I didn't make it to top 5 not that at all because if it was so I would not have said those things to the 5 contestants that made it with all the love in my heart CONGRATULATIONS. But you see it fit to make it seem as if i'm angry because I wasn't in top 5 in which i was suppose to be in top 5. All of the legistics and information made it plain and obvious that it was fixed and me being the person that I am after I realized that it was I decided to do something about it. I was planing not to even say anything about it but the morning of Nov 20th I started receiving calls from parents and supporters that were ther the evening of Nov 19th and stated that something must be done because they knew that something was up and fixed.

The fact of my age has nothing to do with it if you were LEGALLY responsible of the program then you should be more responsible of the actions of the program.

Myself and Diranne were friends but not every friendship is peachy and if Diranne was a true friend she would have done what every other girl did after the entire show which was embrace each other and encouraged each other and she did not do that. She did no kind of communication with any one. And like I told Diranne last night we she up and texted me that she was amazed at what I said but I said she amazed me aswell when she showed no intrest in greeting any one. I told her " your selfisness just came out that night". I felt as if her performance that night was not up to par to become queen and I still feel that way.
