We were offered to try BTC's VIBE service a few weeks ago. Because we have relatives in the US, we thought it was worth a try..so we tried it and it worked just fine! Then one day it was GONE! No notice..gone! After a number of calls we finally find out that our free trial is over and we must let BTC know if we want to continue the service...We accepted! Just thought that it would have made sense to have them call BEFORE disconnection, since they never specified how long the trial period was....Anyhow, now we're signed up and the service is absolutely LOUSY! And since its all connected thru DSL when the VIBE goes down the DSL is also disconnected..so we have diconnect and reconnect thru different modems...what a pain in the *****!! Of course no one at BTC seems to be able to help us sort this out... Just wondered if anyone else had any experiences with VIBE? It would be a GREAT service IF it worked!!

Some of my family have it and I was not impressed (poor sound quality etc); but hey, at least its a start right?

I have it and its fine. Not perfect of course (sound quality can be better) and I didnt trust thier crazy instructions for using it with Coralwave (cloning the MAC and statically assigning a DNS in my NIC). Cuz from my experience, I know ppl have problems when doing that.

I just plugged it into my Linksys compact wireless router and boom it was on. Voice mail and all that stuff, and checking ur usage up to the minute is kool.

And there is no doubt about its legality either.

Hahahaha.....No Love.

I should mention though the quality is much like Vonage, which is nothing like the PC to PC quality.
