So the consecration of Gene Robinson took place... and AGAST!we are all still here. You mean the sky isnt falling after all? - WOW! Now that the deed is done let the Anglcans do what they must. I just dont think that HONESTY and INTEGRITY should cost so much, however since the church like to have have liars and decievers in high office let it so be.
So BOO! HOO! to Bishop Gomez. He sounds like a young child you doesn't invite you to his party becuase you dont do as he says. Let it so be! - I dont see Bishop Robinson or any of the co-consecrators clamorring to come and celebrate mass on the hig altar of Christ Church Cathedral. - so beh!
And so what if the Anglicans and Romans cant chat anymore about unity... ?there was never going to be unity anyway. Who really beleves that the Anglican Primates would give up all that power to the Pope? - Again i say FOOLISHNESS.
And so what if the Muslims dont want to meet with the Anglicans? - There cant be, because of the very nature of the groups, more than just "conversation" anyway.
Impared Commuion, broken communion... fractured communion - whatever you wanna call it. I say bring it on. I am sure the Holy Spirit which allowed the first break with Romans and let the other breaks with the Methodists, The Baptists, the Church Of God etc to happen without consigning us all to Hell, will deal with this one in time. We all exists in our churches with various forms of worship based on all sorts of theological principals.. here is just another one.
My final admonition.. only what is done for Christ will last. If this isnt of God it will gone soon enough. In the meanwhile could we not all just leave it up to him (or her) - dats another drama we dont to get into...
God Bless You All
