here's a 15 minute short video to help us understand what's wrong with today's youth, especially young boys, in our country. I hope a lot of us take a look at his. There's something to be learned.
"Life of a teenage outsider; what makes him that way and how his anger flares into violence. He feels that everyone is against him."

pple can put all sorts of theories out on why these kids, especially young men doin fool as they want but the fact is if these parents took care of theire business by:

1- settin a proper example for their kids (how u goin to be an example when u drinking, cussin, smokin, go out look like a hoochie or jigalo, gat all kinds of man and woman, every week the kids have a new mom or dad, stayin out till all hours of the day)

2- knowin the company ur kids keep, if u see them around pple who u know aint no good for them let em know and get all up in their business about it. they wont like u for it but ur not their friends ur their parent.

3- try to spend some quality time with ur kids, too many pple have these babies only for the baby to grow up comin home to an empty house havin to make their own dinner, havin to make sure they make it to school the next, havin to make sure their home work is done. in a nut shell they are responsible to raise themselves. i know we all work but u gatta make the time, sometimes the money aint worth it

4- talk to their kids about violence and vandelism. let them know it aint cool with u. let them know when they find themselves arrested dont call u (thats what my ma use to tell and that fact alone scared me to never get arrested cuase if u cant call ya ma who u goin to call). let em know u hate theives, murders and drug dealers.

point blank these kids just bringing themselves up the best way they know how.

well, while parenting is very important, i feel that as the African proverb claims "It takes a village to raise a child". Meaning that children are a part of the wider community and of course their behavior is influenced not only by the attitude and priorities of this community but also and more importantly by his or her position in a community. And as long as we live in a capitalist community there are going to be children that are born into privilege and children that are born into near hopelessness. And of course when a child realizes that just because of the situation he was born into he probably won't become what he dreams of being, he is angry.
And then of course we have the culture that is sponsored by corporate Amerika that is pushed down on the kids as their role models that make them think that the best thing in life is to gang-bang and insert gold teeth.
So it's not just the parents, the easiest thing to always do is blame it on the parents and they do play a big role but the problem is the society we live in.
IMHO
