Today, November 7, 2003, was a national day of prayer.
Do you think it was a good idea?
Will it do any "good?"
Did you observe it?
What did you do?
Please share it with us if you can.

Well CG,

The Bible says that prayer changes things so anytime we choose to pray it is always a good thing.

"Will it do any "good?"
Depends on who your praying to.
My belief is only Jesus Christ can change this nation.

"What did you do?"
The same thing I do almost everyday; work!
I feel that it is sad that we have to remind people to pray by picking out a day to do so. This should come naturally.

more importantly, we should choose a day of prayer or even a week, and make it for a very specific purpose so our creator can hear a lot off people asking for help on one accord.

we need concentrated blasts of prayer to change this world.

and if energy can't be destroyed all that prayer has gotta go somewhere.

Matthew 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Matthew 6:5
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Just in case you don't know a synagogue is a house of worship you call them churches.

Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Matthew 6
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
