The predictions of Nostradamus' on the Third Anti-Christ

Could Suddam be that Anti-Christ, I found the predictions that this guy made hundreds of years ago to be so fascinating and many of them have come to pass. Read the passages below and give your opinion, would the death of Suddam trigger the 27 yrs war he predicts, could Suddam be that Anti-Christ he pridicts as the third to come.

In the early 1990's, after the gulf war ended, Nostradamus followers wildly speculated that Suddam Hussein was the third Anti-Christ. Many scholars have interpreted Nostradamus' prophecies over the years. The common consensus is that the first Anti-Christ, named Napaulon Roy was Napoleon, the second named Hister was Hitler and the third was named Mabus. We have yet to figure out who this last Anti-Christ will be.
Century 2, Quatrain 62
Mabus will soon die, then will come,
A horrible undoing of people and animals,
At once one will see vengeance,
One hundred powers, thirst, famine, when the comet will pass.
After the gulf war, Suddam was left standing in Baghdad and people lost interest. The prophecy was not fulfilled because Mabus (sudaM) was still alive. Now with war looming over the middle east, Suddam is now the US's number one target. He has the chance to fulfill the prophecy, if Bush gets his way. Nostradamus infers that if the third and final Anti-Christ dies, a 27 year war of vengeance will begin.
Century 8, Quatrain 77
The antichrist very soon annihilates the three,
twenty-seven years his war will last.
The unbelievers are dead, captive, exiled;
with blood, human bodies, water and red hail covering the earth.
With all the terror attacks around the globe, it's not hard to see how 27 years of Arab reprisals could take place. And how Suddam would become the Arabic martyr for revenge. His death may look like the solution to end all hostility's, but it could trigger decades of terror attacks. I think Suddam may get his chance to play the role of the Anti-Christ (Trickster) after all.

Many people sense End Times coming now. That all things in our reality, will one day come to a screeching halt, is encoded within us.
'End Times' means different things to different people - from spiritual ascension - to the physical planet being destroyed.
All prophecies are put in place to attract souls - based on their emotion, spiritual and physical journeys. They all come down to a change in this timeline - no later than 2012. The scenarios - and the characters within them - were created by the story teller - good old Thothie. This is his script - and we are projections within it - experiencing different roles. No matter what you read - or how you cut it - it comes back to the same point of origin - and the blue and the gold.

What a load of bullocks...and the thread title is misleading. blah blah...remember when the "Anti-Christ" was the UN...then the EU? And so many before the creation of those organisations? Such predictions can fit lots and lots of eras/people/organisations/etc. Dont let national geographic/history channel get you too excited.

To answer your question - Saddam's death will do exactly what the West wants in the ME - create chaos....afterall how else can they divide and conquer..

Personally, I don't put much stock in Nostradamus. One of his quatrains said there was to be a comet coming in 2004 that would destroy, or damage the globe. Then of course there was the Internet hoax about 9/11. Nostradamus' stuff is open to the most extreme interpretations and can be made to fit just about anything, after the fact! :)

i like old Nostry...you make enough predictions about enough far reaching events and you're bound to get one or two right. cause let's face it, any and everything that can happen...will happen.

For some reason on this site one brings interesting information to the forefront so that others may share their opinions and you get these damn lunatics who think everything is personal and an attack on them. The topic may not apply the way you wanted it to in relation to the information in the thread, but it applies in light of the fact that whether you think that his predictions are right on or false or whether you think Suddam matches his third accounting of an Anti-Christ, it is worth discussing because it is a fact that his prophecies has showed some similarities regarding other tyrants who once ruled.

Believe me my friend that this is not a crusade to save Suddam, like many others on this thread I think he desires everything coming to him and more, so don’t make this into a thread about the topic being misleading, because if it is its only for you, because I wrote it and it says what I intended it to. To avoid this in the future don’t open threads with your personal assumptions base on its topic, this would you from being mislead.

As far as I am aware, *freedom of speech* is well protected on this board. I am entitled to it, and I shall say as I wish. As long as its not 'offensive' to you.

I am interested to know why you think I am trying to make this thread into one about a misleading topic? I answered your question (according to the topi) which, I believe, is 'normal'...it seemed you needed to be steered in the right direction. Also, why do you say I feel like your topic an attack on me? Dude get a life - and puh-lease - NOT ONE THAT REVOLVES AROUND NOSTRADAMUS!

Basing events that happen around us on prophecies is silly.

Deliberately manipulating events to correlate with a prophecy is even sillier.

Interpretation is often left up to the individual in such books as the Bible and the predicions of Nostradamus. Nostradamus made so many predicitions, that a monkey throwing darts at a dartboard, would have the same rate of accuracy. I have read the book of his predictions and that is my feeling on the subject. An intelligent man and thoughtful man,but not anymore reliable than "the old farmer's almanac." :hammer:
