I mean i'm glad that the police finally moved to the new police station down the street. now what are they gonna do to with this eysore in dowtown freeport. It was an eysore when they were still there. Unpaved dusty parking space, unsteady structure, chipping paint, it was and still is an ugly structure. It was there from the beginning of freeport. the government never took care of anything, obviously maintanence will never be a word in their vocabulary, nor in the budget. Now its time to tear it down! Its sickening now the homless is now sleeping in front. Its like its their own house they even put up a clothes line in the entrance. It smells like hell! It really disgusts me! At least the government should sell the property to the highest bidder. Do you know the potential that property has? I would buy it and turn it into something much better. But i'm only 15 and not much to my name at the moment. If the government wants the Bahamas "clean and pristine" or what ever the slogan is, at least they can be an example. A democratic Government reflects the poeple in my opinion. If this is how they keep things...... :bahamas:

This building is in downtown freeport. i'll try to give you a discription. if you are familliar with freeport, its situated on Pioneers way, on the left of the batelco outlet( a yellow building with a cellphone tower in the back). This former station is across the street from a popular local business called compusec printing situated in a shopping plaza called the arcade building. behind this building is the freeport shopping center in which winn dixie is situated. The Port Authority Office building is also across the street and two blocks away.
