judge joan sawyer (dame)...in reponse to the privy council's ruling that the death penalty was not mandatory and that the offenders must be re-sentenced/re-tried, dame sawyer stated that she was anointed by god...she was here doing the work of her father and no-one is going to challenge her.....
A CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE DOCTRINE OF SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE...she is in fact doing the work of the people...the people APPOINTED her...and it is to us she is accountable...

Maybe this is why so many church leaders could not stand Ingraham because he was not inna that nonsense..if Bahamians have not changed and if Ingraham has not softened his personality he will get licks again because Bahamians like people who say god cause me do it, or it is god's will.I wonder if anyone had done a study of this mindset from a cultural perspective, it would be an interesting exercise, I think. I have family who have been in the same position since I was knee high and seem resigned to stay that way because god likes poor, suffering people. All they have to do is make a plan, work to achieve it, ie, show some initiative..jah has given us what we need already, a brain and instincts to be able to do whatever we want to, and to fail or to succeed.
